Can you please explain further on the phone you have, maybe it's locked to another network, or your Orange sim needs registering first.

Firstly thanks for your help.

The Phone is a nokia 6103, it came to me without simcard but is clearly branded T-mobile. I put in an old virgin sim to check it worked and it does, I then decided to unlock it so I could use it with my current orange pay as you go sim (which is definitely registered and active)

I did the unlock with the virgin sim inside and it did switch off and turn back on again with the restriction off message. I then put in the orange sim but each time I do this it comes up with "sim registration failed" I am able to look at the text messages already on the sim but there is no network connection. I have put in 2 more codes with the orange sim inside and the message "phone already unlocked" or similar message comes up.

Not sure what is going on?

Seems very strange, go into your settings and networks and try to actived your orange sim from there.

BB5 phone I’m afraid, as there are no remote codes, only your network provider/market stall, or pro unlocker can help here.

Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in the phone. When it says phone restricted, press
‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code and input the code into the box on the screen.

Press * twice for +
Press * three times for p
Press * four times for w

Then enter the code
