    hiya.looking into unlocking a nokia 5400 slide.it has already been mentioned that it is a BB5.Could somene tell me how much i can expect to pay on a market stall to have it unlocked please?Cant decide whether buying a new one is the easiest option

    does the contract have to be ended b4 it can be unlocked?

    No, you can still unlock it, as long as the phone doesn't have to be returned for a fault within the contract time, otherwise they can refuse to fix it, or issue a new phone.

    thank baldhead.This is for my 12 year old dughter.I have a contract on 3 for her but having awful signal trouble now so wanted to go to orange maybe on payg.If i am out of contract can the 3 network unlock for free?

    BB5 phone I’m afraid, as there are no remote codes, only your network provider/market stall, or pro unlocker can help here.

    Please Please help me, I know nothing about phones, I just bought a phone for my daughter from ebay but it's locked on vodafone but her simcard is orange.
    I've tried 2 codes on this web site with no luck, it's her birthday tomorrow, please help!
