Orange have taken a lot of my PAYG Racoon credit (I had £15 and made only about 3 short calls to check the phone worked, and somehow the credit now shows only 7p ),
so I am keen to change from Orange,
but like very much my nk402 phone, not least because it has easy buttons to dial; more recent phones all seem to need to be dialled by fingernails!
Please would you advise on whether this is unlockable free, as I have generated and entered (without a SIM) the code #pw+6282546487+1#
to unlock the NK402 phone IMEI 495510205119043 .
It displayed SIM unlocked, but when I try a Vodafone or Virgin PAYG SIM, and turn the phone on it displays Sim not accepted.
I search the forum for NK402 and unlocking this phone was discussed about six years ago, but I could not understand the outcomes,
i.e can the phone be unlocked free from Orange,
and which PAYG companies can be used with this phone.
Anyone any ideas please? Thanks

It's a BB5 phone and can be unlocked only if paid for, as there are no free remote codes. Contact a pro unlocker/market stall or your network provider
