BB5 I’m afraid, there are no free remote codes, but your network provider/market stall, or a pro unlocker can help here. There are also remote codes that you can obtain from the web on certain networks, but very expensive

I could be about to appear very thick here, but here goes ...

Nokia 6300: I know I can't unlock it with a free code.

But what am I going to need?

Situation is that a colleague has brought this in to work (small charity) to replace one of the bricks we currently have. I don't know what network it's been used on before: it appears to have an unopened Vodaphone SIM pack with it.

Do I ask my colleague to phone whoever they were using it with because we'll be asked for passwords or PINs?

I would think that's the only thing you can do, because without the PIN number you can't get into the phone. Regarding the network if you have a Vodafone sim it's more than likely that it's on Vodafone, otherwise you will have to try some different networks in the phone to find out. Hope this helps.
