Hey happy, good to have you back lovely. Sorry to hear about the fertility treatment - will keep everything crossed for you that it happens naturally before anything starts.

Just going through the whole process ourselves (for various reasons) - it's not nice. I'm just keeping fingers crossed that results mean all is ok and just a case of not happening. Feel like i've been poked and prodded enough :-(

Keep your chin up and I know it's hard (oh gosh it's really hard!!!) but stay positive lovely xxxxxx

hi choc, sometimes they say stress is what can cause some problems but how do we not stress? its hard not to! At least your in the system and hopefully that means if there is anything your dealing with it! and if there isn't that's great but sometimes just knowing things are been checked and sorted makes you relax a little bit.
I have been looking after myself eating healthy and reducing weight, after the meet and greet at ivf the couple said if you drink stop if you smoke stop and if your bmi isn't great sort it out don't let it be a question of doubt if your sadly unsuccessful. It will be an emotional rollercoaster but one I just want to start, I keep toying with the idea of a private go before the nhs but then if im successful I miss my nhs and that could be 5k towards my 2nd child! I think if it was longer than a year I would pay private .

I think hold on in there for NHS - fingers crossed it'll come soon or magically happen natural for you meanwhile lovely. Then you can make a decision whether or not to go private pending times etc.

I like the advice that they have given - basically if you are doing everything right then you physically can not do any more and you can't have those what if's. Obv I think everything within reason, a drink now and again won't hurt - we still have to live and in turn not let it take over our lives as that too doesn't help.

I was recommended as relaxation/hypno cd on the NCT website called prepare to conceive. May be worth a try for you hon? If anything it made me totally relax and my friend swore it worked for her. I do drift out and then before I know it i'm being woken, very weird but I think anything is worth a try to help. Have you tried reflexology?? Some people swear by this, again I don't necessarily think these things aid pregnancy but I do think they manage to relax you totally which is really important.

Hi, yes im having reflexology every other week and its very nice and does relax my mind. I kind of think icsi will be my way forward. I would love a natural conception but thinking like that at the moment for me is too much so im sort of accepting that I will need icsi.... time will tell:)

Credit card paid in full, will just wait for minimum payment to leave also and that should sort out the pending interest. It was only 149.92 but its cleared and means I can close it and say bye bye!


next target is to clear the 5k on the credit card...once that's done it will be on to the next I will close every card bar one just incase I need a private go of icsi and while I still have outstanding credit it seems silly to keep savings .... onwards and downwards with these numbers !!

So I have had another balance transfer offer so moved some of the purchased things from credit cards onto the Barclaycard for 0% for 10 months. Every little helps and hopefully when oh gets his payrise that excess will go towards snowballing the amount. I am hoping that this plan will see us in a very good position come December 14 :
) just need to keep on the straight and narrow.

Whoop whoop! It's a great feeling once you have cleared one and closed the account. Every step is a positive one towards that day of financial freedom
