I understand where the OP is coming from, some people will block the fridge with their trolley and take everything.

This is where i smile sweetly and move their trolley out the way:p
I'm on a pretty tight budget as i think most of us are at the moment and i have no problem moving their trolley if they are trying to get all the bargains for themselves.
A little bit of common courtesy goes a long way - trying to get every bargain and actively stopping others getting them is so rude.

I don't mind if people take what they need, as long as they aren't pushing, shoving or being a general nuisance to other shoppers or staff members, asking for more reductions, but I prefer not to take all of something, as my morality won't let me.

Having had things taken out of my trolley and seen my partner kicked by some snobby old dear (on both occasions apologies were sought and received, even if I had to be a little abrupt), I know how selfish people can be.

But, as previously stated, as long as it's done in the correct, polite manner, i'm not worried if people take what they need.

What about, filling your trolley with all the reduced item's, then going to a quiet part of the supermarket to search through. Pick out what you want to keep then return the items you don't want back to the reduced section. That way you don't have any competition.
This is what my husband witnessed, and couldn't believe how greedy and selfish some people can be.

Now THAT is shocking!!!!!!!! Extremely rude and I would hope staff would do something about it.

to all moneysavers ,on sat in sainsburys the reductions were being done and because they were closed on sun all the fresh meat was reduced. one woman filled her trolley with joints of the very cheap meat (50p for beef joint) eventhough there were loads of people also trying to get a bargain. at the moment we could all do with some reductions. she then went to the checkout without buying a single full price item. i hope moneysavers havent come to this and are sharing with the deals and perhaps we can stop such GREED

In my local supermarket we can never ever get anywhere near the reductions because of some Oriental and Pakistani families who tend to come in and monopolise everthing. Becuase they bring all their kids in they seem to corneer it all and get all the best stuff.

It makes you sick to see them with about 15 loafs of reduced bread and meat joints each.

To be honest i have never witnessed anyone being pushy, greedy or anything at the reduced counter lol we all seem to politely wait till we can squeeze in and have a look at what is on offer.
I just wait my turn as my Tesco rarely has anything that is exceptionally reduced even at closing time.

The other day though at Iceland the Cadburys mini egg cakes were all half price ,there was a lady there deciding how may to have there were 2 kinds but only 1 of the nest kind left, i said excuse me and picked the packet up lol, well i didn't think she wanted it as she had the other one in her hand and they are pretty much the same, she did smile at me though :) Ifshe had of said they were hers i would have given her them back and picked a box of the other, i don't really want to get in a scrap or arguement over a reduced item lol i just can't be bothered.

I once saw a large trolley full of reduced mushrooms, as I was deciding wether to get one pack or two, a foreign (poor english accent) man appeared and told me I was stealing his shopping. Was that greedy or what?

Yep, you have to watch your trolley or basket like a hawk, if you've filled it up with loads of heavily reduced items. Before you make it to the check-out people will relieve you of your goods if you look the other way. Believe me. Hmmmm, I can't remember if I,ve ever done that myself, lightening other shoppers' burden..

God it seems worse than being a zebra stalked by lions or something

I better remember to hide the yellow sticker saying "reduced" on my item in my trolley , just incase i am set upon by a mad moneysaving mob intent on pinching my find :) lol it does seem funny though.

Fancy telling someone they are stealing you shopping lol it ain't there's yet till they have paid for it !!!!!!! It still belongs to the store, still i think that foreign guy sounds funny, meat yeh perhaps a full trolley but mushrooms :O
