BR Barclays Online Banking Cash Card A/C

I have my pin sentry reader too and online has been working fine. We now have a nice extra cash card account though!
We applied the day of BR but was told that it was postal application only so we filled in the forms. When going into our local branch we were told that it could be done there and then so we did it and was given A/C and sort code. We were told that the other account would not be processed as head office would see that we already have an account.
Logged into internet banking yesterday when got pin sentry and say two accounts on there. We have been told by Barclays that we can keep them both so now we have two connect cards and two bank accounts.
I see this a small blessing as we can manage benefit payments better this way.BR 31/03/2009AD 31/03/2010 (hopefully)BSC number 257Barclays Cash Card Account with Connect Debit CardMycashplus card0

got my pin card reader for online account from barclay's today maybe I'm getting to keep the online banking!
Don't count on it. I got mine too and then it all went horribly wrong a couple of days later.
Got through to someone the other day and they said the automated phone banking is also turned off for bankrupts - which would make sense since I only ever get through to a person in delhi rather than an automated system.
 Ridiculous.BR 08/04/09 | ED 02/10/09 | BSC 255

sieve, this is exactly what's happening to me at the moment too. I thought if I couldn't have online banking I'd sort out the phone banking as I get fed up with the lengthy process of security check each time I phone. When I tried to change my 5-digit pin on automated service it wouldn't let me... three times I was transferred to an 'agent' who kept telling me to use the automated service. The fourth time I was transferred to them they told me not to try again that day as I'd lock myself out. It kept telling me the number was incorrect but the agent told me the number was correct. This is sooo frustrating!
I did get a reply regarding my 'escalated complaint' but only telling me that they were still investigating it!0

            Hi
Has anyone applied and received an account post bankruptcy? I am now 2 months in and have the Co-op Account (joint) but would like to get the Barclays one too for myself - no joint account with the spouse! That is what was caused me to go bankrupt as all our debts were joint, had they not been, I would not have had to go bankrupt.
Reluctant to go and apply as I am afraid they will turn me down!
Can I do it in the bank or do I need to post off the application?
Your prompt reply would be appreciated.

You need to go in branch to open a Cash account with Barclays.
You can open another account with Co-op if you wish, just in your name.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

I have today received letter with my pin number for my connect card, so looks like I have been accepted, will see about online banking. I applied about 6 weeks after BR and have a co-op account. I did owe barclays a few thousand as well.0

Well thats sounds alright than, I am looking forward to next year, knowing I will have no debt! and can start to put all this behind me I am not seeking to get credit or do anything like that until all this is off my credit history (would like to buy a house sometime in the future)
I will never put myself in that situation again, but funny enough despite have an Abbey account that has been defaulted, they sent me an application over the weekend that says I am gauranteed a card! I laughed and shreded the dame thing!
Nicest bit of all is that the phone no longer rings all day, I can now answer my phone without worrying who will be on the other side! Never saw my name in the paper either and it has been nearly 8 weeks post B. Never saw my name in the paper either and it has been nearly 8 weeks post B.
