I to have fallen foul of being locked in a car park, have read all your gripes & moans, instead of venting your frustrations here, group together, engage a solicitor & civil against the owners of the car park, as for a lady in a BMW giving a number of people ticket, this would appear to be they are employing an entrappment scam to then gain money by deception, which is fraud, if you suspect this is the case then it is a matter for the the police to investigate & if necassary crimal charge can be brought. Safety & stregth in numbers, share the cost & liabilities. these people hide behind the fact that it will cost an individual far more to take legal action, than the £75 charge. Team up & stand up to them.:T0

Care to elaborate here, are you saying you were locked in this car park and released until you paid the £75 ? If you were have they put barriers all around preventing you leaving as the images on the net would suggest there are none and you could leave. Also the charge of £75 is scandalous and an illegal penalty which people should make a claim against there is no need for a solicitor in a small claimExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

One thing that has always confused us, is why the police, having clear evidence of fraud and deception refused to use the evidence to nail ex-magistrate Ted Evans. I am in contact with a man who offered evidence of a rigged ticket machine to the police - this being evidence of a criminal offence - the police said it was nothing to do with them.
In May 1993 West Yorkshire Police (the force covering Haworth), were blessed with a new Assistant Chief Constable - Norman Bettison! He left WY police in 1997 to become the Chief Exec of CENTRX - an organisation that trained police and "enforcement agencies". He re-joined West Yorkshire Police as Chief Constable in 2007 - he remained there until a few days ago. He has left the force in shame amid allegations of a serious cover-up in connection with 2 major incidents. As Bettison was a senior officer in West Yorkshire for significant years in which Ted Evans was highly active and enjoying a 'hands off' policy from the police, perhaps Bettison could throw some light on this strange situation!
Bettison once made a move to stop staff putting personal comments about him on the internet. One allegation published was that Bettison was "greedy".

Interesting, didn't realise it was him.
Just a thought when reading his Wiki page, how can he have got degrees at Oxford and Sheffield Hallam Universities if his Police career started when he was 19?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Bettison
''Maria Eagle MP on the floor of the House and thus protected by Parliamentary privilege, accused him of boasting about the Hillsborough cover-up operation involving concocting a story that all the Liverpool fans were drunk and that police were afraid that they were going to break down the gates and so decided to open them.''

Either that or he would have been signed up on a part-time course. As and when he travelled to Oxford, or wherever, he would have received expenses and been on full pay. He would also have been granted study leave and and received full pay throughout that too.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

Without wishing to be seen to p*ss on anyone's fireworks but do we actually know exactly what is going on currently in Changegate car park other than it being alleged that £150/£75/£60 tickets are being issued - speculation, supposition and Chinese whispers aside, that is?My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

Gareth Evans reaches 12 points but not banned as he needs his license to get around robbing the good. I'd say it is unbelievable but him and his brother have been "looked after" by the courts all their lives. All the intimate details about this and even more serious issues are in a book to be released next year.0

I posed this same question over a fortnight ago and no one has answered the question. There are rumours but if any substantive action is to be discussed/taken then this can only be based on facts. Apart from a description of what is reputedly set out on the signage there remains a remarkable dearth of hard facts and that is the way things have been for a month. People come to this thread, amongst other things for information. At the moment there is nothing. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
