Wow you have a fab time........:j:j, you can tell us all about it tomorrow, have fun..
My oldest son was 21 over a week ago and my youngest son will be 15 just after Xmas.
So no need to go overboard this year, my youngest has special needs, but I know he won't mind what he has, there are a few things he have asked for so I explained to him about money is tight at the moment and we will do all we can.;)XXX

We cant go overboard this year either, must say easier now the kids can understand, also it helps them appreciate all we can do. Love Family traditions, these are things that we remember not the gifts. We are starting a travelling nativity tomorrow to will let you know how it goes

I agree when they are older, they do tend to understand more, so that helps.;)
I always love the run up to xmas, and play xmas songs and so on, and always look forward to the Turkey dinner with all the trimmings, my fave part of the day.;)
Sounds like your going to have some fun tomorrow, you enjoy yourselves and yes please do let us know how it goes, cheers.:A XXX

OMG.........:eek: now that's a thought.........:o, will place a bucket by the front door me thinks just in case..........:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

A few months back he went to Newport Clubbing, the phone rang at 3 am, then suddenly he said in a very slurry voice "mum, please pick me up, I got off at the wrong place and my legs can't take me any further"

It was trying to find out where he was - was the problem, I could not make out what he was saying, but where we live is above County Hall and the Police HQ, he was about a mile from there, we found him stood up leaning against a wall by the dual.........
I asked him what on earth he was playing at, he said he thinks someone spiked his drinks, his mates got out the taxi before him, as he was the last to get off, then my son said he seen a bus stop that looked like the one from across the road to ours and told the taxi guy to drop him off there.......:rotfl::rotfl:, the idiot........what is he like?:rotfl::rotfl::D

  • Hi everyone - hope you're all as well as can be!!

Di - thinking of you & your family ... don't worry too much about your son tonight - when I was 21 I went for a night out in Bristol and I had to telephone my dad (at 2am) to ask him to come & get me ... but I was so sqiffy all I could do to confirm my position was to say "in a phone box!"

Had my second cycle of chemo yesterday (wearing my 'thanksgiving turkey' hat) & am now also sporting a new 'hair do' - it's called the "Yul Brynner" !! Having all the usual side effects (unfortunately), including being taken to hospital last weekend with neutrapenic sepsis. Still the lump/tumor seems to be shrinking so all augurs well!!!
:AIgnorance can be cured, but stupid is forever!:A

lol, your poor dad.......:D, I must admit though, I think we have all been through it haven't we?:o:j:j:rotfl:.
I should be used to my son clubbing by now really, now and again he goes off to Swansea, but when he does he stays at his mates who are at the uni there, so no being woken up then........:D.
