Spoken to FOS again today and hopefully nearer to my complaint being done and dusted. I cannot wait but does not say I have actually won my side yet????

Glad your dad has company Di. It must drive him mad being with all the "older" ones.

Has anyone had their cheque today?? Not had time to catch up yet?

I know its almost midnight with me posting this.

But hope everyone have had a better day today.;)

This evening dad not so much himself unfortunately, but like I said to mum, we all have our ups and down days, and with them trying different meds with dad, things will take time to work as well.

Dad was a little breathless again earlier as well, but not so bad after going on his nebuliser.
Thing is when dad is getting anxious that is when he does get our of breath, he is doing okay otherwise though.;)

Hi Di, How are you doing? Hope you're Dad is on the up today it a big worry when family members are not well. My Mum goes through very bad bouts of depression which is heartbreaking because they then change medication which changes her into an "old" person my Dads life is on hold. Prayers to you and yours.

I was going to see dad this afternoon, but with this cold, I don't think I should risk it, so mum is going along with one of my sister's, and I should know more later on.

Hope your Dad is a bit better today, Di. It must be so frustrating to take 2 steps forward and 3 back. Is your Mum coping ok? Thinking of you and yours.
Hope everyone is having a good day. I've really got to get my rs into gear, I haven't even started my Xmas shopping yet. I am now waiting for all you uber-efficient people to tell me that not only have you finished but it's all wrapped as well.
I pegged out today and the sun went back on holiday, so in they've come and the radiators and clothes horse are full and the dryer is droning away in the background.
In case no-one had noticed I've got my moaning hat on today, promise I'm going to put it away now.

Think mum is still finding it difficult to accept dad's dementia to be honest, as she take heart of anything he says, but its understandable, with him before being such an independant man, and was always on the go, its heartbreaking. Dad keeps asking staff if he can come home, so at least he still has his wits about him and not forgotten home.;)

Its gone really cold hasn't it?
And so dark as well, the sun was out for a little while earlier, but like you said - its gone back on holiday elsewhere.
Managed to get all my ironing done with.

Yes December next week already......:eek:, do have the advent calendars at least lol......:D, then will make a start, will be cutting right back this year though.;)

Tee hee hee, you never moan Karen, that's my job lol :rotfl::rotfl:, you lot on here are so amazing and strong, I need a bit of that, but thanks to you all you have kept me going, thank you.:T:T

Havent bought one thing for Christmas yet I do love this time of year but find it v stressful too, fortunately my kids are big now DD 19 DS 16 so dont have to chase about getting the thing that everyone else wants too! Sorry soon will break out into a rant about brussels not attractive....
Tonight off to Panto in Glasgow with bunch of friends..."oh! yes I am" (sorry couldnt help myself)

My oldest son was 21 over a week ago and my youngest son will be 15 just after Xmas.
So no need to go overboard this year, my youngest has special needs, but I know he won't mind what he has, there are a few things he have asked for so I explained to him about money is tight at the moment and we will do all we can.;)XXX
