Hi All,
Happy, Happy September to you all...sorry I am in a very good mood and I have no idea why

I have been to Tesco's which I did forget to add to my list. I bought some milk and some bananas and some pull ups for DD total spent £8.88, we took the car round as there is a rather huge and ugly black cloud hanging around and knowing my luck we'd have got drenched on the way back.
Got loads more to do, I'm going to hoover upstairs and clean the bathroom next once I have fed the kids and checked on Farm ville on FB.0 -
Hi Tea - how's it going...?
Sun and showers here.... Trying to pluck up courage to ring after school club and try and get them to cancel her place with zero notice (supposed to be a month). then need to arrange to sign on yet again.... EEKAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Morning and Happy Monday to everyone, not had chance to update for the past few days as there has been so much going on here.
DH has had his eye operation, hopefully his final one at that and as far as I can tell everything is well with it, his vision is squiffy but it is early days. He goes back to see the Consultant tomorrow to have his stitches taken out but then hopefully the Consultant will just need to see him one more time and then fingers crossed he will be discharged (fingers crossed).
DS went back to school with no problems last week and he restarts P.E this week, so I am expecting a tired little boy again as this is his first full week.
DD starts pre-school today…my baby’s all grown up
She will do 5 mornings 9-12 and they are going to work on her toilet training, I’ve managed to get her to use the toilet but anything more than that she refuses IFKWIM.
So I have approximately 2.5 hours to me every morning  and I need to maximise this time as much as possible.
This morning I need to go to Tesco’s to get a small shop as we have the main shop coming next week, so plan is as follows:- Tesco’s - Done £60 spent
- Scrub lounge floor carpet where mould has appeared!?!
No idea where it came from and it is in between the chair and the sofa. - Done - Clean bathroom
- Wash up - Done
- Do one load of washing - One load done, second load in washer.
- Sort and put dry washing away
- Sort something out for dinner
Right off to get showered and dressed and get motivated, will update later if I can.0 -
It must be lovely to have a couple of hours to yourself.Hope this op has fixed your DHs vision and then that'll be something else off your mind.0

Hi Tea,
glad to hear that DH got through his op ok & I do hope it was succesful.
Yippee to having time to yourself for acouple of ours. I remeber feeling exaclty the same about using the time wisely, cant remeber what I did though. Probably just wandered around waiting til I could pick my baby up again .
Got to be honest, personal shopping is a big favourite when on my own. I hate Toys r Us & Claires Accessories - she hates anywhere that sells grown up clothes, we both hate grocery shopping :rotfl:0 -
Happy new week, can’t believe that I didn’t update at all last week. Suffice to say not much ahs happened, the kids and I walked back from school and pre-school last week and I have been trying to not use the car unless absolutely necessary.
DH gets paid tomorrow and the shopping arrives too :j
Heard from my friend last night and she can’t make it down to see us this weekend as her father is ill in hospital
he is getting on a bit in years and I think they have taken him in as a precaution…shame as the kids and I were really looking forward to seeing them.
Anyway, my mum is still supposed to be coming down. Her windscreen got booted by vandals last week and she is waiting on a replacement, so fingers crossed they’ll get it in today or tomorrow and it’ll be sorted for her.
DS has realised that this year at school isn’t going to be all play like it was in Reception class and he’s not too pleased about it. Ah well, he’ll get over it.
On the MSE side of things, I’ve managed to sell a book on Amazon. I just need to send it and I got paid for the rest of the other bits I sold last month.
Storage wise…I have now got £8 in £2 coins saved up towards it; I do have £6 in £1 coins but not counting those in case they are needed for something else.
DH and I rediscovered the local climbing wall, we used to go there pre-kids and wondered if DS would love to do it. DS is a natural to say the least and he calls it monkeying around, even DD had a go
. The climbing centre does an annual family membership of £16 and you can go as much as you like, so well worth it, DH resurrected his old climbing gear out the loft he was so impressed with DS. That gives us something else to do with the kids other than taking them out on their bikes.
Got a lot to do today in such a short space of time, so will catch up later.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
hi TEA
climbing sounds fun,,,
and great to see,,,,FAMILY,,,all together activity,,,,
being semi disabled,,,i find i get very angry at folks who dont play !! with their kids(cus i cant) ,,,due to lack of time/costs
family play time is so important to a child's development,,,not mater how old the child or parents:rotfl:
