Another week already?!? Didn’t realise that it was this long since I updated. DS is now fighting fit and I’m sure he could have gone back to school on Thursday but nope he was quarantined until Sunday! Having driven me up the wall since I am admittedly glad he’s gone back today.
DH has just rung to tell me that the Director is talking about paycuts of 15% across the company, so if that happens we are going to be £300 a month worse off and seriously need to rethink things through if it happens…got everything crossed that it doesn’t.
I failed miserably with the NSD’s last week  but more determined this week.
On to today, my plan is as follows:- Finish washing - One load left
- Wash up - Done
- Wrap presents and place under tree - DH done, just kids to do
- Walk to school and pre-school - Done
- Clean bathroom
- Clean glass
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Morning Diarists, Lurkers and Posters. It’s very cold here today and is predicted to not get about the minuses until at least lunchtime; both kids will be going to their respective places dressed as Eskimos today :snow_grin
DD has her first nativity play today at pre-school, the kids are doing it in the morning for the old folks across the road and then for the parents in the afternoon, much running about there as I pick DD up at lunchtime, bring her home and feed her and then take her back for 2pm for the play. Luckily a friend of mine is picking up DS from school and taking him back to her house with her DD so they can play.
I think that I might have over done it with the food shopping; I used all the stamps up bar £16 as I bought the rest of the Christmas shopping and the monthly shop as well. As a consequence both freezers are full and we have enough food to last us until at least the end of February.
Preparations are now in hand for Christmas 2010 with Tesco points already touching £20 worth.
Today I need to make up my friends candle basket present so that I can wrap it and give it to them tomorrow.
£6 of £2 coins went into my pot yesterday, I am hoping that I can build them up a little bit before DH gets paid in January. I am aiming to put them towards the cc bill.
Off to get motivated, have a good day everyone.0 -
