Are you ok Tea? ..We are missing you.
  • Hi,

I am still here, I think that I've had a bit of a breakdown. Not serious enough to see the doctor about but enough to make a small impact on me.

It happens to us all Tea but at least you can admit to it which means you can do something about it too.

Sorry to hear that Hun..nothing is too small to get to the drs with..hugs xxxx
  • First of all, thanks everyone for your concern it means a lot to me :A

Time I stopped wallowing in self pity, I know what the problem was/is and I can’t do much to change it at least not for another year, so time I returned and concentrated on sorting out the finances and getting my diary back on track again.

2010 is looming on the horizon and there will be a lot of changes next year.

On the money side of things, this has gone horrendously horrible  this past month not helped by Christmas, which apart from a few more presents needed will be sorted.

My wonderful mum did what she did last year, she sent down £300 of vouchers for Tesco as well as four 2 hour sessions for the four of us at the soft play centre and four family session vouchers for the local climbing wall. She does spoil us, bless her :D

We have bought the storage for the kids toys as well as buying the overlocker all of which has gone on the credit card as well as other bits and pieces. Last month and this month I am paying the minimum on it with the aim of plowing money on to it next year once Christmas is out of the way. I am unsure what the total is on there now so will update once the December statement comes through.

The good news…DH’s eye is now officially sorted and it is up to the CAA as to whether they give him his medical back so he can fly again. He was discharged from the consultant a few weeks ago and is in the process of sorting his vision out with the opticians.

Also DD is fully potty trained too, so no more nappies :)

So what is happening in 2010? Well DD starts ‘big school’ in September and there is her uniform to buy for as well as my mums’ 60th party in April. Not forgetting that we are planning on going camping again to the Lakes during the summer holidays, which was a great success in October.

I am determined to make some money sewing scatter cushions and have a lot of ideas on this and have decided that any money no matter how small will go on paying the credit card off initially that way I will feel justified in my mind that I have bought the overlocker, if you see what I mean.

I have joined the Tesco Christmas club and instead of doing savings stamps next year I plan to top that up each month.

So that I don’t get disillusioned again I think that each month I need a task to complete as well as a battle on the finances side of things. I also feel that I need to treat myself too and that will be in the form of buying a lottery ticket once a week.

I will start properly next week and ease my way back into things again and over the next few days I will update my diary even if it is only a little bit.
