• Hi all,

The only overlockers I can find are £200+ which is extortiant (sp?) but I am not giving up!

The e-bay fest will begin in ernest as soon as I get settled with the house again.

Spent £14.80 on groceries, this included enough veg to last a fortnight and DH some crisps and chocolate bars for work.

My first NSD of the month today.

I did count up and have enough 20p's for a bag full for the bank but I think that I will save that until we are dire in need of them.

SH - LOL@You. I know what you mean, hopefully this won't be something that'll just come and go but will actually generate some money <Fingers crossed>

Morning everyone, sorry I’ve not been posting on my diary I have missed you lot and definitely cannot survive without you.

Last week was a combination of early starts and late nights for DH which not only knackered him out but wore me out too, no idea why. Hopefully he’s now at the end of this particular job and can move on to the next site they have lined up.

Our washer has decided to spring a leak, which has involved a call to Comet. They are sending an engineer out tomorrow to look at it.

Money is alas still going down the drain but hopefully not as badly as I had anticipated, more work still needs to be done there me thinks!

DH got a dividend cheque in the sum £5.43 so that needs to go in to the bank today. I also sold another book on Amazon, so that pots building up nicely again.

DH gets paid on Thursday which will be good and the shopping is being delivered then too.

I noticed the other day in the next town where they have the market where I buy my veg and fruit there is a Wilkinsons opening, so when it does I am definitely going to have a look and see what they have that’s cheap.

I need to restart my lists again and get my head back in gear, so my list for today:
· Sort the washing out - Done
· Wash up - Done
· Do at least 2 loads of washing - Done that plus more
· Tesco’s for wine and coco pops - Done spent £7 but got most of things I'd forgotten, used money saved up from last week.
· Change kids beds - Stripped just need clean sheets - Done
· Clean bathroom - Done
· Pay cheque into bank - Done
· Update finances spreadsheet - Done

The kids and I used the car more than was necessary last week and as such I ended up putting £5 of petrol in the car, this week we will be walking more again and will top up the car once DH has been paid.

I will be back later with an update.

Hadn't looked at it like that :rotfl:as bad as some morning have been this is one of the best so far.

Heard from DH too and after our week off at half term, he's meeting his boss on the Monday and he's being put on the new olympics site to complete a job there that the company are doing, he'll be there until at least March next year :D

Have filled my car up as I didn't trust the orange light any longer, it does mean that I will have to be extra careful and not use the car more than I need to.
