It’s Friday and the start of the long weekend, hope everyone is doing something nice and relaxing.

The kids and I will be walking to Tesco’s this morning; I need to get DD some pull ups. This is classed as essentials so comes out of the budget, I will be so glad when she’s no longer in these but I guess it’s just a waiting game until she’s ready to move on to the next stage; at least she does use the toilet sometimes so it’s a start.

Anyway moving on, today should be a NSD. Unfortunately I’m not going to make my target this month but I don’t think 7 is too bad.

Shaun – You are so right about MSE. Hope DS didn’t keep you up too much over night.

    On to today’s plan:
    • Tesco’s - Done £9.98
    • Wash up - Done
    • Sort washing and put away
    • Ironing
    • Hoover
    • Think of something for dinner – burgers and chips?
I need to clean the deep fat fryer if we are to have chips this evening it’s disgusting.

Right off to get motivated, will update later. Have a good day everyone.

Hi Tea, ( & all else who hang here :D)

Well done for confessing to the Virgin CC, not easy but 'better out than in' as they say .

I'm fully refreshed after a lovely hol & raring to get back on the DFW wagon. The joys of buying storage units ... I can assure you that over the years the toys will get smaller but more expensive .

Keep on with the good work my dear :A, one day it will all be over ...

    Hi Tea

Glad you found cheaper storage... I was all set to link you to ikea too

We have 1 of these side on in our bedroom - they can fit clothes in or you can use plastic canvas or cardboard stroage boxes in them for other things. DD has one inside her wardrobe with her toys inside so it is all hidden away. DS has 2 one upright and one side on in his room.... If you could be in love with storage we are in love with these! We bought them for about £50 each - altho they are £59 at the mo! You can even get 2 drawer units to fit inside them for around £20 a set... It's called expedit

Happy new month and I’m on count down to a few things….DH getting paid and my mum and friends coming down :D

I have a lot to do today as I won’t get chance to get much done debt busting or otherwise the rest of this week.

    So plan for today:
    • Book table for the 19th at the local tapas
    • Get DH some very strong painkillers for Thursday when he’s been discharged from hospital - Done £6.58 spent
    • Washing - Second load in now
    • Ironing
    • Change beds - All done
    • Wash up - Done third lot draining
    • Sort out main shopping order for the month for payday delivery
    • Sort dinner out – need to have a look in the freezer
I’m looking forward to not only my lovely friend and her husband coming down from Wales to see us :) but also my mum, I’ve not seen her since her surprise visit in March for my birthday and she is such a sweetie as she brings goodies and despite many offers of paying her for the washing powder, wine etc she refuses.

As much as I don’t want to, I am going to have to use the car this week. I’ve not done too bad I guess as I didn’t use it that much last week as considering petrol is through the roof and is expected to get higher I can see my car not being used all the much more in the near future. I explained to DS that in a morning I will use the car to take him and his sister to school and pre-school but will walk at lunchtime to pick DD up and then later to pick him up from school.

Thank you for the storage ideas BTW.

That should keep me busy for a while, have a good day everyone and I’ll update later if I can.
