Love the menu plan..you sound more upbeat today.I believe exercise helps with mood as well so you may start to feel a bit better for walking.

Hi Taxi - Hope you're okay? Was just going to wander over to your thread.

I'm not sure what happened over the weekend, even DH said that I seemed peed off and snappy for no reason? I do feel better for the walk despite being tired and I've got some bits done too this afternoon, so something must be working lol

    I almost forgot to mention....NSD #2 for me :D

It's those endorphins...they have a feel good factor.I always feel loads better when I've been for a walk..pees me off at the moment that I can't walk as my arthritis is playing up but got some tablets off doc today so hope they help.
We all get peed off sometimes as life is hard when struggling through debt...sometimes it feels like we are walking through treacle.
It'll be great if walking helps you feel more positive and it's free xxx
  • Have just sold a book an Amazon, so that can be posted tomorrow on our way to playgroup.

Have done the tally up on the grocery side of things and although we did cut back a bit compared to last month I am going to try even harder for us this month too.

Well done on the book sale. You have done well for the groceries to be cheaper this month than last month especially as kids have been off school.

Hello you lovely lurkers and posters, hope you are okay today?

Amazon payment went into the bank today, only £1.84 but it’s better than nothing. Thankfully no surprises have come out of the account.

DH is buying his lunch today as he’s at the new site and is unsure of when/if he’ll get chance to grab something to eat I know logic should dictate that it would be better if he took some but there you go

Busy day planned today, just hope it doesn’t rain whilst we are walking; plan is as follows:
    • Post office to send book – will get some change out of pot to send - Done
    • Playgroup - Done, walked there and back
    • Wash up - Partly done
    • Hoover through house
    • Painting with the kids - They are colouring
    • Make dinner – Lamb hotpot as DH likely to get back late - In oven ready to be cooked
Apart from sending the book, I’m hoping that today will be a NSD.

Good news too – DD has finally decided to start using the toilet, okay not exciting news to you people but she will be three in 2 weeks time and despite much trying she’s been digging her heels in and refusing until Sunday evening when she just took to it. Sorry but I’m very proud of her :D

Have a good day everyone and I’ll update when we get back later.

  • Morning Shaun,

Poor you, hope your arm/shoulder gets better soon.

DH works in London so there are plenty of shops etc so I know he'll get something to eat, I did try protesting but fell on deaf ears. It is the first time he's bought lunch in ages so I guess I can't really complain too much.

I hate toxic nappies, they have to be the worst....

Hi Tea & all else who lurk/post here.

Saving holmes - congratulations on the job :D

Taxi - so with you re the walking to feel better , I've tried it & it definitely works :D

Shame about the RAC Tea but hope you can get it sorted soon.

Great news about DD finally succumbing to the lure of the toilet :rotfl:my little one was also nearly 3 & I could imagine her still going to school wearing nappies, she was so resistant :o. The eldest on the other hand was just 18 months .

Well done on your meal plan, I still havent got my head together enough to do that . I'm just not very good at sticking to a plan, any plan .

Rain holding off over here so really should cut the grass ...

Good plan for the day, and great about DD - my DD2 who just turned 3 was the same, it's a real breakthrough when it just seems to click isn't it?
