Monday again and count down for DS to Wednesday when he finishes school for the summer, no one has told us what time they are finishing yet

We tried out a new babysitter yesterday and she seems really nice, the kids like her so we may have something there. We went to the pub for a bit of ‘us’ time and got two raffle tickets for the meat raffle and won some braising steak :D guess what we are having for dinner one night this week.

Got paid for the shoes over the weekend, so they need to be sent off today.

This morning I have transferred £30 from Paypal over to the current account, so will be happy when that hits the account :)

Checked e-bay and one of the items that I put on there has a bid on it, it’s only 99p so far and there is still 3 days to go, so fingers crossed that other items will sell too.

    My plan for today:
    • Wash up
    • Sort paperwork and shred where necessary
    • Post Office - Done
    • Book table at Rayon D’or for September - Cancelled
    • Morrisons for cereal for kids - Done
That should keep me busy for a while.

Hope everyone has a good day and I’ll update later.
  • Have been and booked my car in for it’s service and MOT the day after DD is due to go in and have her operation; DH is off that week anyway so we can use his car and thus not scrabbling to get a babysitter for the kids.

I went to the post office and spent £6.50 on postage, so not too bad there.

Also went to Morrisons for shopping and spent £6.85 on groceries but forgot the milk so will have to get some later when I collect DS from school.

Also spent £3.97 on much needed nappies for DD; total spent today: £17.32, so total to come off my Weekly Spends: £10.47, leaving me with £9.53 remaining for the rest of the week.

I did however manage to save some money as I went down to book the table for when my friend comes down and the theme evening has been cancelled. So I figured we’ll all have to go out for a meal instead.

Got the c.c for this month and the Interest Free period runs out at the end of this month, so I can foresee much ploughing of money on to said c.c to get balance down as much as possible…gives me a challenge I suppose.
  • A brief update before I log off and attempt to do something around the house before Dh comes home.

I have managed to persuade DH to get me two boxes out of the loft, at least one box is rammed full of ornaments and things that will generate some money, the other one has kitchen stuff and glasses that will hopefully sell too.

Have been and got some milk so we are sorted now until Thursday when the shopping arrives. Total spent £3.60..I also got a chocolate bar, not MSE I know but was bored. So my total for the shopping for the month is now up to the limit bar a few pennies and I have 45p to add on to my Weekly Spends.

Tomorrow will be a NSD as I do not need to spend anything and playgroup is free :D

I had a question from a buyer in Germany who potentially wants to buy an item of DS’s on e-bay, so when I go to the post office this morning I need to ask them how much to send abroad and then e-mail the buyer back.

I have checked e-bay this morning and besides the above, I have another item with a watcher and another is up to £1.20, is it weird to get excited to see any money no matter how small when you sell something??

I have checked internet banking and everything that we spent at the weekend has finally come out and although nothing has gone in as yet, the account isn’t looking too bad so far, money due to go in:
    • PureProfile - £25
    • Paypal - £30 mine £8 DH - £8 received + £30 now received
    • Amazon - £3.63
    • DH’s expenses - £250 – Already paid out on c.c
    • Child benefit - £132.80
Total due to hit Current Account: £449.43

Taxi – as much as I too love braising steak this is a rather fatty bit, I will need to buy some more just to make the meal palatable  Still it’s not bad for a win and will get eaten this evening and hopefully DH will be able to take some for lunch tomorrow.

    Plan for today:
    • Post office - Done 90p spent
    • Tesco’s for a small bit of beef - £14 spent there on groceries
    • Washing – Priority
    • Wash up
    • Change kids beds - Beds stripped for washing
Hope everyone has a good day and I’ll update later.
