Another day and it’s half way through the week.

Forgot to mention yesterday that DH has his third operation on his eye next week, it’s on Thursday so he’ll be in overnight and out on the Friday, DS birthday party is on the Saturday…cutting it very close me thinks…just hoping that everything will get sorted and on time.

Not got much to report this morning, but my list is as follows:
    • Go to Post Office - Done
    • Get DS a swimming cap for school – they won’t let him swim otherwise - Done
    • Take a carrier bag full of clothes to charity shop - Done
    • Finish the washing – Fast wash most of it. - Done
    • Clean glass - Not Done
    • Wash up - Done
    • Write one review – this is a must do - Done
Got to get motivated as the kids need to get dressed and I’ve got to empty the bin as the bin men come today.

Will update later, have a good day everyone.
  • Just an update so I don’t forget to note down what I have done so far.

I have spent £6.34 and doubt that anymore will get spent today; this was for wrapping paper and a card for DH, swimming cap for DS and posting the parcel off.

I have checked the bank account and the refund (£84) for DH has gone back in, so pleased about that. The money for the mortgage and the shopping has come out so we are nearly half way through the overdraft, so as long as I can keep spending as low as possible and sell more tat, we might be okay.

DH’s expenses haven’t gone in yet, so when that does it’ll go straight off the c.c.

I need to do some manoeuvring about with Amazon and I think I need to have it paid into the current account this month for the time being. Next payment for that is due on the 23rd and is so far £6.29 which although isn’t much will be useful this month.

Off to do some housework now whilst I ponder what else I can think of to make some more money.

That's a long list of jobs that you've got done today.Glad that you got DDs results back and hope she gets better soon along with your DH...try and get some you time as well.
  • Morning lurkers and posters,

Taxi - I do try and get some me time but doesn't always work out, I think that's why I spend time on here when DD is watching television or playing with her toys.

Managed to get one review uploaded yesterday, I’m no where near a payout just yet but at least I’m working towards it. I need to get another one done at some stage.

DH managed to get £2 paid out from Lightspeed during his lunch hour yesterday, I checked his Paypal account and he already has £6 in there, I can foresee this taking a long time before he can with draw any funds from there but everything helps I guess.

Nothing more sold on Amazon today but did manage to change the details so that when the pay out is done it will go into the current account this month.

Done shopping online for next Wednesday morning (£36.08), I ordered the rest of the stuff for DS’s party and with any luck his cake should arrive next week.

My list of chores for today:
    • Get some milk for kids, eggs and potatoes
    • Clean kitchen
    • Sort washing out and put away clothes not being ironed
    • Clean glass
    • Hoover upstairs
    • Sort something out for dinner – Tapas?
Not a NSD but should be a low spend day, which will help.

Have a good day and I’ll update when I return from Tesco’s and the school run.

Monday and the start of the week from hell…this week is going to be so busy that I think I will meet myself coming back, if that makes sense?

We spent way too much over the weekend and to compensate I need to be as low on the spending as possible this week.

DH’s expenses went into the current account £266.20, of which £250 has come straight off the credit card.

Good thing: Sold another item on Amazon – Total there is now up to £8.52 which is due to paid tomorrow, so it will probably hit the current account by Friday.

    My plan for today:
    • Go to doctors, my finger is infected so needs sorting – saved change to pay for prescription should they give me one. - Done
    • Post office to send parcel – again change saved so can send it - Done
    • Go to Tesco’s and get some plastic bowls for Ds’s party on Friday - Got other bits too £10.79 spent so a low spend day acheived
    • Clean bathroom - Done
    • Finish washing - Working on
    • Wash up - Done
    Plan for this week:
    • Go to Debenhams to change DH’s t-shirt for next size up
    • House work
    • Shopping being delivered on Wednesday 10-12
    • Hospital with DH on Thursday
    • Cook and sort party food
    • Check that everything is sorted for DS’s party
    • Try and get at least one review done this week - One done aiming for another one this week now
As DH is at the hospital having yet another operation on his eye the latter part of this week, I am not going to be around as I will be sorting him out.

Checked my Valued Opinions over the weekend and it is up to £4.25, a few more surveys and I can redeem it and put it towards Christmas. DH’s Valued Opinions is only up to £2.75, so a way to go there.

Right off to get motivated, I hope everyone has a good day.

Another day and another step closer to Thursday, I don’t know why, but I’m as nervous about this third operation as much as DH is. I don’t know if it because the last two didn’t work?

Anyway on to today, I sold another item on Amazon last night, so that’s another £2 to add to the pot for the month :D

I have filled in DD’s pre-school registration form, they have a £30 fee but take £10 of that off your first invoice, although DD will be eligible for the free sessions in September her attendance will mean that there will be a slight overpayment every month of £60…This also gives me the incentive to get DD potty trained over the summer holidays whether she likes it or not ;)

I have checked the online banking and we have £520 left, we still have the child benefit to go in and although I normally transfer it over to a bank account but with everything that is happening this month I think that I’ll leave it where it is, it can be used towards DS’s birthday party.

I still haven’t banked the cheque from Music Magpie and am strongly resisting doing so for the moment.

Plan for today is as follows:
    • Croydon to go to Debenhams to exchanges DH’s t-shirt and get DS wrapping paper and birthday card and Boots to get some baby wipes and nappy sacks - Done spent way too much
    • Polish
    • Wash up
    • More washing
    • Prepare dinner
    • Sort party bags
Best get moving and get the monsters motivated, catch you later.
