It’s Monday and the weather is supposed to get dire this week, so using the car is on the list for the week.
Yesterday’s family fun day was good, both kids were suitably knackered out and the free bar, lunch and BBQ were as good as previous years. It is doubtable if DH’s company are doing pay rises this month so I guess this is a good way to say thank you to their staff.
DH has got an appointment with the consultant tomorrow about his eye, so I have everything crossed that all is well.
I sent off the c.d’s to Music Magpie on Saturday, so just waiting to get a cheque back from them next week. DH is going to go through his old c.d’s and get a load together to trade in.
Some of the items I listed on e-bay have sold, have watchers and bids. I’m hoping that the majority will sell; the rest will go to the charity shop.
I must do some more reviews this week, I managed three last week so am aiming for at least two this week and am planning to get back into doing survey’s again; I find the ones from Lightspeed good as I can convert the points into money and transfer it to my Paypal account.
I need to go to Tesco’s this morning for some milk, cheap chicken and something else that I can’t remember.
My plan for today is as follows:- Start surveys again
- Sort washing out
- Clean bathroom
- Clean glass
- Polish
- Tesco’s for bits and bobs needed
- Make dinner – Sausage casserole or fajitas????

Plan for this week:- Restart and complete as many surveys as possible
- Housework
- NSD’s – looking doubtful for this week but going to try
- Complete and upload at least two reviews
- Anything not sold on e-bay take to charity shop

A fair bit done this morning but need to get some more stuff sorted. So far I have got two parcels to post tomorrow with hopefully another one.
Besides my list for today I have put the cushion covers in to soak with some bleach.
Apart from the necessary spending this morning, I have not spent anything else.0 -
Morning,
A quick update as I need to rush out in a moment to take DS to school.
Sold two things on e-bay yesterday so need to send them this morning also I am waiting payment for another one that sold. I am going to re-list the other bits and see if I can get anymore money for them.
Got playgroup this morning, so £1 gone there.
Dooyoo is not up to 9100 points so nearly 1/4 of the way there.
Forgot to get some yogurts for the kids yesterday so need to go back to Tesco's before playgroup.
At least tomorrow will be a NSD as I have nothing that I need to buy tomorrow.
Will update later.0 -

It’s Wednesday today and one step closer to the weekend :j
Good news is that I have a payout from Amazon on its way £7.20 to hit the savings account :T
Completed both reviews for Dooyoo that I wanted to get done this week, going to try and get another one done again before the end of the week. I am up to £10 now and aiming for the £50 payout.
The bad news is that OH is going to have yet another operation on his eye
he has a scab at the back of his eye which has torn the retina again and this is now leaking fluid underneath, he has the operation 3 days before DS’s birthday party and this month is going to be yet another expensive month
So far the money I have paid out is:
£15 – DS swimming at school
£47 – DS birthday cake, I know that I could buy a cheaper one but it is his 5th birthday and he won’t be getting a party again until he’s 10.
£87.50 – DS dinner money up to the end of term
£198 – DH dentist, broken tooth.
These won’t come out until after DH gets paid next Monday so have to include them in June’s Pay/budget.
I went back to Tesco’s yesterday and spent £11.14 so I do not need to go back there now as the big shop from Asda is being delivered on Monday – which reminds me I need to double check that I have ordered everything we need for the month as well as DS birthday party food. I will do that later.
Things to do today:- Change beds
- Hoover through house
- Wash up
- Clean bin – Yeuck! Hate doing it.
- Make dinner – Lasagne as got a white sauce in cupboard to use up.
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Morning lurkers and posters, hope everyone is okay?
DH and I got up late this morning, DH must have turned off his alarm when it went off this morning, either that or he just forgot to set it last night.
Managed to sell something else on Amazon last night :T so well pleased there; it is only a £1 but every little helps, I’m going to see my friend at work today and I’m going to ask him if he’ll post it for me, he works in the Post Room at the office where I used to work and has posted a few items for me on the side.
Yesterday was my second NSD
and I’m hoping that today will be another one. Besides going to see my friend I need to go to the leisure centre where DS’s party is going to be held and confirm numbers with them…all 36 of them
I finally heard back from the place where I bought DH’s Aerobatic Flying Lesson from with regards to a refund…DH is officially grounded by the CAA until his eye recovers (if it does recover)…they are taking £25 off as administration fee but we are getting £86 back…so I need to send off the necessary paperwork back to them today.
Right off to get motivated, we are picking up DS’s best friend this morning and taking him to school whilst his mum goes to court about her divorce.
Catch you all later, have a good day.0 -
I hope your hubby gets thing sorted soon with his eye. Did you get all the results back fod your DD yet, if you want any help interpreting what they tell you let me know and ill get my OH to take a look.
Sounds like amazon is going well right now. 36 children for a party, good luck..........DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
Afternoon,
Lunar – DD’s results came back this morning and the consultant has confirmed that DD has a Thyroglossal Cyst, her blood tests came back okay just one problem was that her Iron was a bit on the low side…Consultant said it was to do with her MCV which is 68?? He wants her to see a Paediatric Surgeon but it’s not urgent? I’m waiting to hear from him when he wants to operate on her because if DH’s company is paying for it, we want her in and sorted ASAP.
Parcel duly sent off, so that’s a job sorted.
After trying hard not to spend anything today I remembered that we did need some stuff, so alas £14.04 has been spent on food. I will have a NSD tomorrow, I will, I will!!
On the Dooyoo side of things, I’m waiting on a suggestion being accepted then I can upload my review. I’m trying to think of something else I can write too.
Hope everyone’s had a good day, off to feed the monsters now.0
