If the Lexmark one is a USB lead then it will.

the square one is a USB "B" plug and fits the printer, the flat one is a USB "A" plug and goes into the computer.

Ordered mine online yesterday with free delivery this friday. Absolutely spot on as the ink refills seem to be pretty cheap compared to other cheap all in ones i found. Excellent find.

PC World also have this Brother all in one if people are struggling to get the current one.

    Brother Printer @ PC World

Spoke to Brother on the phone and they confirmed that it's almost the same printer, pages per minute are identical although PC world states slightly different.

I purchased it last week and can highly recommend it and it's slightly varying model's!

Can anyone recommend the cheapest place(s)/comparison for the replacement cartridges? e.g. ebay, the place above, etc

I have a similar kind of cable for my TV Tuner and I believe it can be used with printer too. All it depends is the socket types. Thats why most of the site just say a USB printer cable and not mention make or model for the cables. I beleive any of this kind will work. I bought one from ebuyer when i ordered my camera.
