How's the climbing going Karen? I've still not made any attempts at doing it!
Yes it can be really draining thinking about money all the time. I planned to go shopping today when up at my OH's and I was all set for a splurge (bad I know) but ended up taking my OH's elderly mum with me, apparantly she told him she had a great time, so it made me feel good that she had a good day out (and I didn't spend anything - apart from tea and shortbread) - I had 2 bits, but who cares eh!0 -
Oh know never seen this page when I posted. Hope having a great day out with OH - show him what he's missing girl!0

Swinstie - i'm loving climbing, it's fantastic! Went for my first outdoor climb last weekend, scary but brilliantAww, bless you and OH's Mum - I tended to do that with his mum too....she loves tea shops!
Had a lovely day today - things seem very positive. We're taking it very slowly to make sure it's right, something both of us want. Little steps and taking each day as it comes.
Anyway, a very tired Karen and must go to sleep now.....night night xxx0 -
What a miserable wet day, feels as if autumn has really set in. Didn't want to get out of bed this morning and only had to move from one room to another
Nothing exciting to add re money - suppose to be doing overtime and it was cancelled at the weekend. Hoping to get some in this Saturday with any luck. Need to earn some extra pennies given xmas is approaching so fast

It is very wet isn't it... I have 2 mins to decide whether to collect DD from school by car or by walking! Karen - have a look at the special occasions board for xmas ideas - esp the Finished Baskets section... that can be great fun! I used it as my inspiration last year and enjoyed xmas for the first time in years!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
