  • Hey Karen,

Just been catching up on your diary after the hols and so didn't expect your news! Sorry to hear it, as the others said we're all here for you to rant to and give support!

On a brighter note, you must be really proud of the debt reduction, that is fab. I'm also very jealous of the climbing course, I've been wanting to try climbing for years! Think you've given me the drive to look into it and finally do it.

    Keep your chin up xx

  • Thanks SG :A

Just having me an emotional week, totally confused re OH. He's been calling saying misses me, what is he doing etc. Said yesterday that he thinks we are getting on better than we ever have and communicating better than we have which makes him want to see and call me etc....says he is thinking.....I guess this is all positive actions etc compared to 2 weeks ago but it's hard for me as obviously just want my life back.

But, being a big strong girl I realise that i'll be fine and dandy what ever happens it might just be hard for a while whatever the outcome. I'm keeping busy have a girly afternoon and evening planned and then tomorrow meeting friend for lunch again.

The biggest thing i've realised that I have friends (you superb and lovely guys) that don't judge me, are there for me and always supportive....that means a lot so thank you SO MUCH you are :A

  • Hey all,

Hope everyone is well. Am going to try and pop on properly tonight and catch up on diaries etc.

Having a busy week with work as off next week - lots to do! Need to get back to focusing moneywise - to be honest not been too bad really. Although overtime not coming up that mush these past couple of weeks, in reality not been really feeling like doing it so no loss there!

Away next week with friends - should be nice :D

    Catch up soon xx
  • Hi karen - glad things are going a bit better with your ex. Perhaps it will lead to him appreciating you more but as you say if it doesn't you will still get thro this and you do have a cheering squad here on mse to help you along the way!

My sis got married at the weekend - and someone from mse forums came to see her wedding. I thought that was so sweet. they had never met before but they got on so well on the forums they arranged to meet up! I met up with someone a couple of times on the special occasions board too and it went very well. We actually had quite a lot in common - they just live in the wrong place LOL!

  • Hey SH,

Thanks. Things are seeming better each time we meet up etc - fingers crossed. In meanwhile I am living life for me and what I want to do and I know i'll be ok whatever happens. Have great support everywhere, here, friends, family etc and I am surprising myself how strong and independant I can be. I firmly beleive (much as it has been horrible) that we needed to part/have a break as it has given me a lot to think about where by I wasn't happy with the relationship, me and others (family - won't go there!) and has helped me to re-evaluate what is important to me :D

Ahh, that is lovely about your sisters wedding. Funny enough I keep in contact with someone I met on here via email at home we've yet to meet up due to distance but we are hoping maybe christmas time. It's lovely isn't it.
