Afternoon all,
I've finished work and am now sitting chilling on the couch....I think I deserve it after the last few days
As you can see, I have updated my signature for my overtime challenge, very please with myself :T I've also set myself another challenge of £30 per week spending, to include food shopping etc. I have approx 3 weeks left until payday again so it should be possible. OH is away for a week during this time too, so easier to plan food wise when it's just for one.
OH has book our holiday :j We're off to centre parcs in September Mon-Fri with friends of ours and their little ones. Works out £90 in total for me, I was good and said if it came to over £100 then I wouldn't be going. OH has put on his card and says I can pay him back in time. Also got OH to agree to put money aside each month for spends whilst there so from next payday we are both putting £20 per month aside....he slooooooooooowly starting to think MSE's ways......
This week i'm going to try and embark on my diet and fitness, feel up together with everything else and have been lazy in the old exercise department of late, i'm going to work out meal plans (mse style) and a fitness plan for the week ahead. The aim is to do at least 30mins exercise each day and eat sensibly.
Scratchie came to balance of £10 today, so first thing tomorrow I will be logging on and getting my next free money so I can withdraw this....that's an extra £20 this week :T This money is going straight into my debt repayment fund.
Right, have yapped enough for now. Off to surf diaries now and then probably grab some dinner.

:j I just clocked the new sig's!!
Centreparcs sounds great, I have never been as I always thought it was really expensive but my boss went last year with his family and he loved it, they all did and it sounds like a bargain
I was supposed to start my diet about 3 months ago to lose weight for Cuba but it hasnt really happened, I still have six weeks to will weight myself tomorrow and see what I can do in the mean time!
I had a slight mishap with spending today but will chuck it on my own thread!
Any more plan for over time this week?

I'm a great one at saying I need to lose weight but never get round to it, need to lose about 1st and i'd be happy.....might weigh myself in a mo and log it and use it as motivation on here.
Don't know re overtime yet, they normally tell us sometime today of any planned for the week ahead. I hope so as feeling quite up for it at the moment!
Will catch up on your thread a bit later x0 -

Something feels different this time around and it's great0 -
Morning all,
So another week begins.....I wonder what it'll bring???
Just weighed myself.....10st 11lbs  This is the heaviest i've been in a long long while so must do something about it, starting now! First aim is to get down to 10st and then see how I feel.
Withdrawn another £10 on scratchies :T - that's £20 due to my debt repayment fund. Woo hoo!
Obviously starting the weekly spends of £30 from today, this has to include everything. If I can do it, I am going to aim for the same again next payday. We shall see.
So plans for today;- Do a full days work
- Find out about overtime availability
- Eat sensibly
- Drink lots of water
- 30 mins exercise
- Write a shopping list for food shop tonight (should be an ickle one)

Hi Karen hope you have a good day and get some more overtime in the pipeline. Exercising sounds good too - and it is a long time since I have been anywhere near the weight you are complaining about but there we go....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Afternoon all,
Not sure what has come over me but I have just done 30 mins exercise in my lunch break  Did the warm up and full body toning section of one of my dvds. Hoping to go for a run later tonight for a bit more cardio but depends on the weather.
SH - not heard about overtime yet. I'm hoping for some though!
Been good on the eating front too, just porridge for breakfast and a weight W tomato soup for lunch. Just got to keep this up now.
Must say a BIG thank you to all you guys, regulars and lurkers, as knowing I am posting here and in touch keeps me motivated :A

Halifax CC have finally stopped charging interest again :j:j:j:j
I'm so pleased, they have finally listened to me and stopped it. Only taken 5 months
Funny, I remember one member of staff saying .... 'we only freeze interest the once, once it's back we can never freeze it again'......go figure0
