Right with you on that one m'dear.

    Now its real.

Well done on all the action you are taking to beat the debt. I want to shout from the rooftops that I am making a stand against debt, but I know my buddies would be horrified that I got myself in over £20k worth of debt in the first place........ so think I'll keep my little secret to myself. Except to share with you all on here too of course!

    Afternoon!

Do you know what, i've been sat here thinking and I wonder how many of our friends are actually in debt too?? I bet there are more than we think/know of as like us, I am sure they don't advertise the fact.

For instance when I was discussing my debts with one of my closest friends she then told me that she has started taking control of their finances as they are in over £70K of debt. Luckily her OH earns over £85K a year to assist in this clearning the debts but really its all relevant....she's doing really well at making a start too.

We'll all get there in the end and I am sure when you find that job you'll be so savy with your money that the debts will tumble down ;)

I know that I will NEVER EVER get myself into the situation I found myself over just a year ago and if I can finish this dmp earlier or save enough to clear a few debt and manage it myself all the bettter.

Think I have just motivated myself even more now....sorry for rambling :o

    Afternoon all!

Lots of sunshine here, managed to get out for a bit by going to the bank and post office (finally posted my phone, yippee!). Well done on the NSD yesterday Karen and I am glad to hear you have more over time available!

I swore to myself when I started my diary that I will never let myself get into debt again, not like I have done over the past 10 odd years! How did you do on daily scratchcards? Only 10p for me today, boo :(

Have a bidder on last nights Ebay item :T

Hope you enjoy the rest of your afternoon!! x

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

Start overtime at 5pm....loving having it as sometimes they don't have any for a few weeks but of late it's been super busy so we have to work super hard :D I'm making sure I arrange any social events after I know what overtime is on or available so don't cross the two. Never thought I would see the day I did this, i'm a changed woman:p

    Evening all,

Just finished work so thought I would pop on and say a quick hello before settling down with a cuppa.

Another 3 hours overtime added to my total today :T....i'm on a roll. Only hope the momentum and the overtime lasts :rotfl:

Been a little off track with the diet and exercise today, but in my defence I have been working since 7:30am and only just finished. I think I can let myself off just this once ;)

Back on track tomorrow. No overtime and OH is working late shift so will have the entire evening to myself to get up together, do a proper work out and then have me an much needed early night.

Off for that cuppa but will no doubt be back lurking and posting soon....it's so addictive:rolleyes:
