It's funny, but I've had a PC for years and the inside just never gets all that dusty for me. In fact the only really dusty one I've seen came in absolutly caked inside - a veritable snow-storm when the case was removed.
It was the office PC for the local crematorium...
:eek: That is a scarey thought.
Glad your pc is working BB.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
2 urgent needs today:
petrol - running on fumes
hairspray - running on empty
£1.79 in my purse. Just over £2.00 definitely in my bank account and £10 refunded from hotelclub also showing as available balance but only went in on Saturday so I wasn't sure whether I would definitely get access to it.
So, went to Asda, can of hairspray, garlic baguette to go with the chilli pie tonight and a bar of Smarprice chocolate. Total: £1.38Went to self service and decided to pay with my debit card - would it give me the extra £10?? It did, so I got £10 worth of petrol.
So, I still have £1.79 in my purse but am down to £1.55 in my bank account and I get paid on 28th.
So, no hair cut for my interview, (which I could do with), but I have petrol and still have plenty of food in the house. Food for June on OH's CC comes Wednesday, so that means I'll have a stocked kitchen for about 2 weeks.
13 minutes done on the wii. Did the step aerobics for 3 minutes and then tried a couple of the first yoga exercises.
I tried to do the 'tree'
I think 'timberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr' is the appropriate sound I should be making whilst trying that!!!!!!"Stay Wonky":D

Because what it fails to show - through the use of clever cropping of the photo - is her holding onto the light shade..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I kind of managed to stay on my right leg (although the wobbling was quite extreme and my foot was against my ankle rather than hoiked right up to my thigh!) but I couldn't do anymore than a couple of seconds on my left leg because of the weakness in it and I stepped right off the board....I heard the wii trainer say 'hello???' in a mildly concerned but confused voice because I'd completely disappeared from his 'vision' :rotfl:

Hi BB
I've been lurkingbut just wanted to say that if you've previously worked in a higher band post, I don't see why you shouldn't start at the top or at least part way up the scale (I'm NHS too). They can hardly argue that you don't have relevant experience. Have a word with the HR people when you get the offer (just make sure you get any agreement in writing).
Good luck :grouphug:

thankyou Rosa
As it's not a job I'm falling over myself to get (which in the circumstances is rather stupid) I'm going to just be as cheeky as I can if I'm offered it. Band 5 is currently
20,710
21,318
22,152
23,019
23,345
24,013
24,831
25,829
26,839
I left my old job 2 years ago 2 points from the top of a band 6 and this is a very similar post (almost identical) with 1 just element not included.
Not sure where I should pitch myself really (if there is any leaway). Don't want to sound greedy but at the same time if I am thinking to hell with it, I might go for a mid point ie -23,345 and see what they say - it will probably be :rolleyes::rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D
