    it is Tig ;)

If I'm offered it, I'm going to be brave and say I want to negotiate. I know when I was last with the NHS a ruling came out saying everyone now had to start at the bottom, but hey I'm the don't give a monkey's BB now, so I'm going to ask - although that is if I'm offered it!

Well, whilst MSE has been in a black hole, I've been to work to teach IT for a couple of hours, did about 20 minutes on AQA, and then OH turned up with the wii and the wii fit. We put it together and had 2 games of bowls and I whooped his !!! both times :D

He left and I did the Wii sports fitness test of tennis, bowls and baseball and have a wii fitness age of 68 :rotfl: although I think this was down to not hitting the ball once in the baseball!

I then set up the wii fit board and based on age, weight, bmi and balance test results........I have a wii fit age of...........27 :rotfl: :rotfl:

I then went back to my PC and it looks like it has died :( IT has been a bit problematic for about 9 months and keels over every now and again. I'd patched it up a couple of times but it turned itself off this morning and although I re-booted, it did the same this afternoon and now won't re-boot. So, I'm on the lappy I bought over a year ago - knew I'd use it at some point

So, if the PC won't come back to life I'll have to spend some time in the morning loading the AQA software onto my lappy and work from it.

So financially, 2 hours teaching for my end of June salary, but about £4 on AQA for my end of May salary. Gulp.

What's it complaining about when it boots?

BB.. you should def neg the salary, I started last June and I didn't start at the bottom of the scale. You have prev NHS experience so that should be taken into account.

    Good luck x

ta tig - I have decided to chance my arm if I am offered it - what the hell :D

Well, I am back on my PC :D

Teccy guys recommended taking off the side and having a bloody good clean of the insides - 4 years of PC dust removed :o and it fires up fine now. Also removed the cmo (lithium battery) for a minute as advised, so it was either the dirt in the fan (it was really clogged) or something battery related.

    2x10p on double scratch Sunday.

£10 refunded to my account for the hotel rooms cancelled. Good job as my petrol light has come on.

Did 11 minutes on the wii fit and was knackered. :o Think that was down to the 3 minute jog - I am so unfit :rotfl:Also did some of the balancing games and am officially 'unbalanced' :D Think I could have told them that without having to pretend I was ski-ing down a hill! :rotfl:

It's funny, but I've had a PC for years and the inside just never gets all that dusty for me. In fact the only really dusty one I've seen came in absolutly caked inside - a veritable snow-storm when the case was removed.

It was the office PC for the local crematorium...

well, as one of the teccy regulars put it - it must have been WELL dirty!!! :rotfl: It's just been sat here in the bedroom for the last 4 years, although there is a window about 3 feet away that is open in the summer, but other than that, I wouldn't think it would be any more dusty than any other computer really
