I discovered Qype last night. Heard about it but never looked at it. They are offering 350 IWOOT £20 vouchers for 40 reviews done before 2 June, so I joined and did 40 reviews last night. Hopefully I'll get one, it's my Dad's birthday at the end of May so it would be ideal for that.

I guess if I have an interview for the job doing my old role (in another area of the NHS) I'll hear today.

Done the shopping to be delivered at the end of the month that OH pays for.

Had an email (finally) to say my hayfever tablets have been sent. At long last. I think the company has been a victim of its own success. I only had 2 of my last mega cheap batch left so these (the generic Zirtek at 28p per 28 tablet pack) will do me for this season and early next season as well.

    Something else I was going to say........nope can't remember........must be my age.........eek!!!

I've banked the £110 NI refund cheque. I will need to pay back the £60 ( I moved another £10) I borrowed from my savings, leaving me £50. The minimum payment on the first CC I am trying to clear is £25, but I really need to keep the remaining £25 in my current account because of the rocky road ahead next month. I am :( about that because it makes me feel I'm not getting anywhere.

However, I'm trying to think of it this way. Before I re-started, I was sinking, now, I'm stabilising and just about floating . Before I can start to move forward I need to ensure that I am sea worthy again - no point in moving forward and starting to sink again.....

My other teaching course is going to go ahead in June, it was touch and go, numbers wise. Money wise this is a good thing, unpaid preparation time and general extra work on top of everything else, it's not so good.

It means I won't be able to go to Leeds, I am teaching on the Saturday morning and then on the Monday evening so it would be a very short time spent there and a very early start on the Monday morning to be back in time :(

However, I've already paid for my hotel, so I'm going to see how much I can get back when I cancel which will be a few more pennies for next month.

I need to convince myself that going from sinking to a period of floating and stabilising is ok and isn't something to beat myself up on a daily basis about.

Could someone not go in your place for your Leeds hotel? Pretend to be you, might save someone else a bit if you can't get a full refund

ooooooooooooooooooh, it's too late - I thought everyone was well and truly booked in - I cancelled the room yesterday :( I was doubly gutted when I saw how little I'd paid - only £15 per night after manipulating the offer - with a buffet cooked breakfast!!

I suddenly remembered this morning that I have an extra 7 hours of teaching to come at the end of this month - the whole day course I did at the end of April.

I've added this in to my lovely spangly tax spreadsheet the very clever Sammy did for me :D and I will now take home £610. I will have £81 WTC. I currently have £220 in AQA so that is £911. After paying the minimum on my CC, paying back the £60 borrowed from my savings, I will have £25 left of my NI refund, so that's £936. I have £10 coming back from my hotel refund - £937.

£80 worth of food is ordered on OH's CC. He still owes me £65, so that will cover the food for the rest of June if I budget really well.

That means I now need £200 to break even for the bills on AQA this month. £23 per day on AQA.

    I can do this...........

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. And I have an interview for the 27th. The possible contact with Cruella post........

Wooooop! woooop!!! great news about the interview on the 27th! you tried to sneak that in at the end missus!!!

not so good about cruella, but never mind, she'll be off polishing her broomstick somewhere, you'll never see her!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
