BB seeing as he stays most nights at yours, you should sit him on his arse and force him to go through all your bills, to show him that he is not contributing enough. Its pathetic that you are working all these hours and still struggling, and he is off pissing his money up a wall:mad:
:T I agree with Jinks 100%
I wonder if his utility bills in the house he doesnt live in are as high as yours BB?But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
no, I doubt they are Lou - I don't know what they are - I've asked in the past and he always says 'don't know' - that's the answer to anything - his mortgage payment, interest rate, CC APR, council tax bill, water rates  He's with my virtually every night - perhaps once every 6-8 weeks he will go out and stay out as he gets hammered with his mates.
He knows my outgoings and when I say things are tight, he says 'well, we'll have to cut back then'. Not sure what area of cutting back he has in mind - probably food, he has no concept though of cost. He buys himself (at home) stuff like crackers, dairylea triangles, occasionally Value pasties, perhaps a bag of oven chips. He keeps saying he wants a smaller plate of food (I confess my portions are big) so I give him less. He then helps himself to a second plate and if I say I want to keep the other half for another day (ie freeze it and then defrost and bulk back up in some way for dinner) he always says 'well, we wouldn't want to deprive you of your lunch, now would we'.....If I give him a smaller (ie normal!) portion, an hour later he is going on about 'what else is there to eat'......so I can't win!!"Stay Wonky":D

I've also tried to gently broach the subject of a contribution to the utilities and he gets defensive with something like 'so, I'm supposed to pay half here now am I as well as my own?' followed by 'fine I'll stay at my house then' so I give up.

tell him to stay at his house, and cook his own dinner, and see how he manages that:D:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
oh, I've done that, more than once. I just shrug and say 'ok'. He sits there like a slightly wounded animal with a mildly contrite and worried look on his face....
Jinky...........Big Bum Clique?? :rotfl: I think I'd have to nominate myself as President as that organisation with the size of my arris :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

cheers Squizz xx
Well, the working day hell has begun. 8.30-4.30 in the office and 3 hours of that in my teacher training class. Whizzed home and am getting ready to go back out to teach cookery class tonight. Should be in for 9.15-9.30pm.
Dinner is in the slow cooker, although I've just shovelled a bit of tuna/may inside me as I was hungry and I now have indigestion - probably something to do with trying to eat, get ready, sort paperwork all at the same time
I was sat in the class this afternoon thinking - is this really what I want to be doing? Teaching at night after a full day? How is going to be after half term when I do 2 nights a week for 5 weeks!! I know it won't kill me but I am not looking forward to it. Teaching cookery is so tiring - more so than the IT or office type stuff I've taught. I am determined to stick a pedometer on my trousers to see how far I walk !!"Stay Wonky":D

That won't be forever. When you're ready, your teaching will be the main act and not the sideline."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
