BB, I have been reading since you have updated but havent posted ~ yet. Woo hoo at the weightloss that is amazing :j Just keep chiping away at it BB and you will get there. Are you still using your wii fit?
Sorry to hear about you withdrawing your savings but if it will ease the presure with all the extra work you doo its a job well done. Its a huge shame but as Toto says if anything drastic comes up you still have the credit to use. Have fun refilling, although saving is less motivating than paying off debt
Ohh and well done for standing up for yourself today and nipping it in the bud. You have certainly changed so much since the 'incident'. Well done hun and keep that chin up...
Take care as always0 -
oooh, thankyou PaP. I think she must have been told that I wasn't worried (Ofsted coming next week) as she was sweetness and light with me
I am tempted to pay off some today but I want to do it all in one fell swoop.
Possibly when mildly pished so it doesn't hurt so much
I thought becoming debt free was supposed to be a happy time!! It was last time, although the circumstances surrounding it weren't good.
I think it will make me stronger person that little bit more as getting the savings back together are about doing it for me."Stay Wonky":D

ooooh, Lenneth you lazy monkey :rotfl: It's my savings, I've withdrawn the majority of them to pay off my debt and start again, another 3k will hit my account in the next day or soIt's not going to be a happy occasion bizarrely.
I'm off to Portugal - now that is bleedin' lazy - I put the link to the apartment up!! :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

8.5k in savings is pretty good ! Will you have much else to pay off after that hits your debt ? Im guessing that is a big chunk gone though. Good for you !0

it will clear it all claire with a bit left over. I'll still have another 1200 left in my shares. The sad part is that I had much more 2.5 years ago when I was made redundant and was also given a payout for constructive dismissal. It was a very sad time in my life and when I got the money I was determined it was going to be 'forever' money. I didn't have the confidence to get a job immediately and some went on paying the bills. I then got a part time very low paid admin job and did some AQA but still needed some each month to supplement the bills. It's slowly dripped away and that saddens me.
Another way to look at it though is that it is 'dirty' money -the result of that episode of my life. Paying off this debt and then re-building my savings - myself - will mean a lot to me as it will be me saving it rather than it being money given to me because of the way I was treated."Stay Wonky":D

Totally agree 100% BB :j :j :j0 -
Well the main thing is that is your debt gone. You can treat yourself to something with the remaining money or start saving more for something else. You have come a long way, well done.
I understand about the job part, im actually going to PM you with a couple of questions if you dont mind.0
