The other positive note will be that the only interest being paid out now will be to you (however piddling it may seem). I had money in savings that I could have paid off my debts with for years but I didn't and I let the debt grow as that safety net was there but then it kept getting eaten into and suddenly (ok not that suddenly) it was gone and the debts were way up. What I'm trying to say is that while it was there as a safety net I was a lot less careful so onwards and upwards old bean!Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
