Put one chuffing thing on ebay as I cannot seem to do this simple act.

    Triker, I've done it!!! :j:j:j:j:j
I've finally listed something, infact 10 things!!!
I am so chuffed, I have done a whole box of stuff that I had left over from my Virgin Vie days, and now they're listed (still loads more to do, but it's a start!!!)

Done lots of other bits from my list too, no flying cleaning wise though, am living in a hovel at the moment, but determined to get these extras done so they don't depress me - I will blitz the house at the weekend because dirt keeps as they say (well it seems to in my house, it keeps coming back...:rotfl:)

Will post my list later... ;) More to do and I'm going to watch sanctuary on TV, so will work while I watch...:D

Ohhh, must go eat some dinner too - put jacket potatoes in the micro about an hour ago (forgot and got carried away with my ebaying...)

Tag I forgot that I had left the bleached cotton wool on there and have yet to find out what DS touched after he turned on the light (without comment obviously damp cotton wool is normal - lol) but look much less grey. We haven't hit white yet but getting there.

I have collected some 'sell your carp here for free' cards from Morrisons with the intention of offering for sale
    One 2 tonne Trolley jack
s'not mine exOH left it here - it has been in my shed ever since and since he wont 'lower' himself to ask for it back (quote - 'I'm asking you for NOTHING' - this was when I offered to take his kids to visit him when he was out of work and couldn't afford petrol/bus fare apparently to see them so they didn't see him for 3 months and DD nigh on broke her heart but I digress) I shall get rid.
(I feel really rebellious and quite scared though - how ridiculous is THAT)

ETA Hope you're having a lovely day Sarah you have been in my thoughts!xx

Frodders - glad someone else is picking up on the Soappie Method of dealing with problem appliances (and cars!) xx

Ladies (and gents). I need uplifting vibes please. Just spent the last couple of hours on the phone and have discovered all sorts of things that are Not Good with respect to the local Community. I feel I have a skyscraper length girder on my shoulders weighing me down.

It shouldn't be there. It's not really my problem. But I care, so it has become, to me, a problem. I want to solve it. But I don't know how. And I can't solve it whilst there's this burden of a girder on my shoulders..

    I know what I mean!

I have done some flying in the kitchen...

And I realise my community burdens are not half as bad as the personal burdens that a lot of you are going through so I hope you forgive me for venting off xx

    Evening :hello:

Thanks for your kind words Toots and rosepink, it means a lot. Toots - I did get some ginger capsules which have not really helped yet; but I am going to persevere with them.

I have got a busy day tomorrow, so need to do an 'extras' list -
    * Take dd to clarks to get new school shoes
    * M&S (to get some treats for the weekend :D )
    * Sainsburys (salad, olive oil, fruit juice)
    * Tesco - take tops back & pick up tray of choc drinks
    * Boots - pick up prescription
    * Call council - to arrange for them to pick up old sofa and desk
    * Do some reading with dd
    * Sort out dd's school bag, ready for Monday
    * List items on Gum Tree

I'm off to have an early night in a bit. Nite nite everyone, will catch up with you all tomorrow xx

Ok, PC desk done :D and I've caught up with the thread.

AnW - a couple of spelling books on their way to you

    L-L - Happy Birthday! Hope you've had a great day :D

MrsMH - Hope all goes well

pigpen - great news on the money and sleep

GnB - great news on the results :D Oh, and I reported the posts too!

Jo - well done on the decluttering

holly - hope the knee is ok

Abbie - hugs and prayers for your dad

Toots - glad today went well

soappie - feel free to PM me if you want to offload

My dad goes into hospital tomorrow at midday and, hopefully, I should be able to pick him up around 5. Still surprises me that they let a 74 year old out so soon after a GA but there you go!

I need to transfer the money for the car to my current account and can't do that online, so need to go to town in the morning. Busy, busy, busy ;)

How do you do this turbo list stuff? I can't see that???:confused: (took me ages to list my stuff)

You download it from ebay ( i googled ebay turbo lister and it took me to it). It's supposed to be quicker and easier and you don't have to list things as you finish them IYSWIM, you can wait until you're ready. However, i have just spent the last 45 mins downloading it and trying to sign into ebay as i haven't used it since my pc was wiped. When it's up and running it does make things easier.

I've turbo listed 1 thing:rolleyes: and weighed and photographed another 11 items.

I'm going to do a HHC in Ds1's room 9.20 - 9.50 and see how much i can get done

clarissa_D You can buy a spray for mould and mildew in the supermarket. It is a really strong cleaning fluid, so you have to be careful using it. When I tried the spray, I put it directly onto a cloth and just wiped over the mould/mildew. It worked really well, and lifted it all. It might be worth doing a spot test first.
