Tootles - glad it went ok today. Hope you got the piccie I sent you. Regarding not bothering to drink....one of my friends asked me if I was pregnant today :rotfl:. I had to remind her that I had a few vital bits missing!!!

Mrs MortenH - hope everything has gone fantastically, thinking of you xx

Jill - I was thinking of you at tea time. My two made their own tea of spaghetti and grated cheese (with added grated ds's finger - delicious!!).

The tv still hasn't gone on since we got back on Monday. The silence is so nice and definitely something I want to get used to. We didn't watch much anyway but i've not missed it not being on at all. Maybe that's why i'm sleeping so well too....just relaxing with a book more.

    Serena - love the shoes!

Right, I need to get up off my bum....friends arriving in half an hour. Just when i'm ready for bed too :rotfl:. I really need to be more sociable! Another quick s/s for now.

    Hugs to you all.

    xx

Cant keep up with this thread it moves so fast.
After my rest I went to the doctors and picked up my sicknote and new prescription. Posted my DLA forms. Visited my parents.
Came back and managed to cook a meal for DS and some of his mates, just Mince, potatoes and carrots. As I cant use a peeler very well they were cooked in thier skins, and nobody complained. Including the carrots. So no wastage there.
Took one of the teenagers down to the "coffee Shop" that is for the youngsters, (Biggest of Mooloo's help run it). Had a chat with the organisers and my daughter (gave her her Easter Egg as I hadnt seen her).
Drove back, and now..... Its a small glass of wine and TV.
Hopefully tomorrow I will manage to achieve even more.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

    Evening! What a day

Took car in then went to dad's and managed to sort his computer :D Then garage rang and car had failed spectacularly  So I weighed up the pros and cons of paying lots for the repairs or buying another car and, in true soappie style, I have paid the deposit for a car which I am going to pick up on Tues :D

I was expecting to be out of the house for a couple of hours today, but I left home before 8:30 and got in at 4:00!! So not much flying done  although I have walked miles!!

I did do a load of washing overnight, so that dried on the line whilst I was out. S & S the kitchen and dusted the bookcases when I got in, then fell asleep!

Need to update and change my list as car things are now more important

Ended up having to ring the plumber and he had the wrong time down. He came straight over though. So he is going to put new taps on and new waste pipe undeneath. Also got him to look at my bathroom and he is going to give me a quote for that.

Washed dishes and swept kitchen floor.
Need to tidy computer desk of paperwork belonging to DD.

Having an early night as Im working tomorrow. I quite like taking a cuppa and a book to bed with me and reading for a while.
