S/S has gone well. Children are off to athletics and dh is taking them so I'll walk stripes again....by the look on her face she doesn't want to go out again!! She really does look dog tired, bless her!

I've decided to give up alcohol. I don't drink that much but sleep so much better without it. I'm aiming for a month and then i'll take it from there. That was a random thought wasn't it.

Floors to clean then i'm done xx

Wednesday - bathroom, study and other grotty places! -All done!!:D:D:D
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three
Extras - just for once, I've done these too!!

And massively more importantly, I have spent the entire day in town, and have now bought:
Bra shoes and clutch bag for DD. Amazingly, we got these in about 20 minutes.
Smart black trousers, shirts and ties for DS1 and 2, and also (very expensive) smart shoes for DS1.
Shoes for me - the most difficult part of the day. Tried on dozens of pairs, and then left them behind the counter until the afternoon while I decided whether it was worth an hour's drive to get a brown pair, or whether in fact black would do - decided black was just fine! (I'm hoping I've done the linky thing right this time!) This is the jacket I'm wearing.

Just have to get a necklace for me tomorrow - and I know what I want. DD also needs one, and will pop into town again tomorrow. Ooof, I'm so pleased we've managed that!

    :bdaycake:Happy Birthday Lady-Liberty!!:bdaycake:

hex and greenbee - I can declutter books now, but it takes a lot of effort. I do also buy far too many magazines, but ones like Gardens Illustrated and France Magazine I use as a reference library, and often reread them. I try and get my subscriptiuons with Nectar points or special offers as well.

Must, must go and cook something for dinner - tuna and pasta bake I think, as there aren't the ingredients for anything else in the house...

ETA - well, I had to go back and redo two of the links, but I think I got it right this time!!

It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be

Well I went upstairs to watch Neighbours at 1.30pm and read my book. Ended up resurfacing at 5.30pm:rolleyes: Gonna have to stay up a bit later tonight I think else I'll be up at 2.30am again.

Luckily though I've done the list pretty much. I'm not doing the filing til I've bought a new filing box. Was going to get one today but I CBA to go to Asda. Which disappointed DD cos she wants some chalks to draw on the patio. But then it rained, and still is, so I got away with that.;)

Valli - how did the light pull turn out?

    ETA - Happy birthday Lady-Liberty :beer::bdaycake::dance:_party_

Toots - thanks for your post yesterday (trying to slowly catch up with the thread). I should not really complain about the morning sickness; I'm sure the nausea with the chemo is horrible, and much worse. My Dad is about to start chemo, after finding out that he has a tumour in one of his kidneys, and they have just found out that it has spread to his lungs. He is so frightened about the treatment; its just horrible. I actually mentioned you to Dad recently. I have not been with the thread that long, but you have always come across as a really positive person. You always have time for anyone that needs a bit of support, despite what you are dealing with in your own life. Dad is really excited about the baby, so hopefully it will give him a good reason to fight this horrible illness.
AbbieB a huge hug for your dad and the rest of the family - it affects everybody - I hope his treatment is a success - my thoughts and prayers will be with him for an easy journey through the chemo. The baby will be great for him to focus on - baby needs a Grandad! I hope the morning sickness eases soon - are there no herbal things you could take - is it ginger ???
juliejim awh hugs pet - you really didnt need that - hopeall the paint comes out of the bathroom too.
holly thats an amazing total - well done - its a great feeling to get rid of junk isnt it!!! WOW I have just read its up to 752!!!!!!!!!!!!! incredible :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
Pen Pen - have a great time
pooh what an exciting but busy time for you - No you certainly dont want DD tripping over building materials on the big day:rolleyes:
moonflower - honey you have your 4 stars - I do them as soon as I see them - but no set time of the day.
jjef ouch !! hope the pain in the toe goes away soon. Sorry I cant help on the ebay thing I dont sell a lot of clothes.
Hex great news about the suit - in case I dont catch you later - all the very best wishes for a good interview tomorrow - I am sure you will be great! Go for it girl!!!! xxx
Mudbath thats an excellent thought so dont give up on it! If you have realised that you sleep beter without it then it has to be worth considering - maybe just a lunchtime drink if you are out somewhere but not in the evening. You are not sickening for anything are you?????:rotfl:
serena - sounds like a busy exciting day - your jacket is lovely - couldnt see the shoes - was there meant to be a link there too??

Princess Jane sounds like a great day - hope you feel the better for it.

    Evening everybody

as usual all your lovely good wishes have made today go just fine 4 down and 9 to go!!!!:T I do have to say that all the pushing and shoving in the changing room will have to stop though - its not next or debenhams or M&S or whatever your fav shop is - you dont all need see yourself in the mirror at the same time:rotfl::rotfl: (well thats my little fantasy of how the day goes:rotfl::rotfl:) And the camera is ther to take photos of my insides not your pretty faces so get out of the way!!!!

came home to find the painter was finished and has totally stripped the kitchen walls and ceiling - what difference evn that makes - he will be back tomorrow to fill in holes/ plaster bits and other preparation.

I have shredded some paperwork while I was waiting for the pc to reboot and checked what really needed doing.
    washing is in
will need to do the bed as I only did a quick make up last night as my sheets werent dry and I was too tired to dig out others.
so tea first then sort out the bed.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Greenbee, could you join a library near where you work and go out there in your lunch hour? I believe that you can join a library in the county in which you live or work, my Dad belonged to libraries in 3 counties once! Also, in Surrey (don’t know if this applies to other counties) you can take books out of every library and return them to any library! This is fab – if I borrow my mum’s library book I can return it to my local library and nobody minds!

    Serena, like the shoes!

Hugs, Abbie, for you and for your dad. Hope the treatment isn’t as bad as he thinks it will be

Toots, really glad to hear the treatment went well today. It will soon be all over!

My plan for the evening is to wash up.

Evening all not done much flying today, just pottered really.

DS1&2 came to DS3 swimming lesson so they played with him for an hour after in the pool whilst I read magazines which I can now rehome.

Dinner done, DW on but will need a reload.

Toots glad the decorating is going well and that you are progressing well with your treatment

LL I hope your enjoy your meal out tonight

Jjef I usually do individual items but sometimes do 2 or 3 items eg 2 polo necks of the same size in different colours, same make

Poohbear well done for not getting stressed and I hope the wedding is just lovely

Denise how are things going with the reluctant studier? I have one too so know how frustrating it is, hugs

Going to do HH in the kitchen and then get DS3 to bed, he is tired. They all showered at the pool so that is a job done.

Jill I hope tea time went well today.
