I have fallen behind on the flying......I decided I smelled and needed a bath!
So went for a long leisurely bath, face mask and all - it was great......God I love spoiling myself.
Alas, my life of Riley is almost at end as Mum, DS and asbo-dog (a.k.a. Copper) are almost here :eek:to LL and anyone else celebrating.
Happy Anniversary to SS and hubby xto any newbies I have missed.
Anyway - am off to scrape the contents of the linen cupboard off the spare room bed and chuck them all back in!! :rotfl: - will need to finish it off later.
Will concentrate on kitchen, LR and bathroom which are in need of some attention.
Can I get ready and fly round those rooms by 7pm????????
best get a move on.......
ETA - Moonflower - stars are awarded for completing levels 1 2 & 3 for one day. It doesnt need to be done on that day though. For example, you can do Monday Level 1 on Monday, Monday Level 2 on Tuesday and Mondays level 3 on Wednesday - and still gain a star for completing the whole list.
Extras are extras and do not count towards stars.
Check out toots post in number 3 - it explains it much better than I can but I hope this helps!Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Greenbee, the problem I have with libraries is that they make you give the books back which is frankly shocking
. I love reading, and I even like re-reading books. Being able to give them back or selling them is plain peculiar. Forcing myself to post duplicates is hard enough. I feel ill when I put them into a letter box. My name is Hex and I have an addiction
!
Kitchen is S&S'd, 24 buns were made (although the boys appear to have eaten 8), creme caramel is in and I have no eggs left until I take a wander up the garden to put the chickens to bed later. DW is on, Must go and put yet another load in the WM next.
Looking at my magazine collection I think I need to make a commitment not to buy any more before 1st August. Can't afford them, don't need them and on a pence per word basis they don't deliver the hit that books do.
Tonight I have a choice between The Wolves of Willoughby Chaise, and The Man Whom the Trees Loved or my favourite bed time reading of Upex on TUPE law and Practice. Decisions, decisions'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Evening everyone
Freezer's fine now thanks PollyB so no need to do a fly and grab - just the plug had somehow got dislodged so the juice wasn't getting through. All frozen back up now. I have apologised to the dog. It explains the big wet puddle on the utility area floor yesterday morning which I blamed on her.
Hi Nats - I was wondering how you were. How's Jet?

Hex - I have recently cut down on my bookshelves by removing a 3ft bookcase from the hall which had 4 shelves of B format (mid-size) paperbacks (I needed a chest of drawers there for scarves/hats/gym kit/handbags). I have also reduced the number of cookery books I keep out to two small shelves and the end of the window sill (instead of the whole 8 foot sill!). It's been very traumatic... I still have two floor-to-ceiling 3 foot bookcases (with adjustable shelves - but basically 8 shelves each!), one 2'6" shelf with three shelves in it, and about another 3 ft of shelf about my desk taken up by books, as well as the whole of the wall behind the downstairs loo (I keep my Jilly Cooper, Georgette Heyer, Anne of Green Gables and other comfort reading here!). I can't fit anymore bookshelves in my house, so I'm now at my limit. I get rid of things when I find myself looking at them and realise that I've not wanted to read them for the last few occasions I've looked at them. As I buy complete trash at times, this varies, but decent books usually last about 5 years. And some go home to live with my parents! I don't like lending them, as they never come back... I'd rather give them away when I know I'm done with them. I usually send 3 boxes a year down to Devon for the air ambulance... so now you know where my money goes!
Magazines are definitely not value for money compared to books. Give up any subscriptions, and either pass on any you are finished with, or drop them off at the doctor/dentist etc (you can vist them there... they'll be around for years!).0 -

DONE!!!! :j:D:j:D
Not too bad for an FHC! The list left is not too bad and shouldn't take too long. Might do a bit more later on tonight.
Bedding will have to wait for another day as it's been a bit grotty weather all week so far.
Right dogs to walk in a bit and then a bit of tea and a bit more flying! Glad I have caught up more today, it's amazing how it bothers me when I leave things each day - this never used to bother more before when I cleaned a room every couple of weeks or so!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Off to meet my friend for a walk... although given what it looks like out there I'm not looking forward to it! Hopefully I'll be a bit more energetic when I get back. If not, I'll have to have an early night, as I have a 7am gym appointment tomorrow!0
