When your kids are older they will still say, oh no not that for dinner but by then you will have learnt to ignore them. You will drink more wine of an evening and spend alot of time on the pc.
I could tell you to shut up and stop complaining but that would be mean - I can say, been there, done it, cried the tears, there are no answers, they will grow, you will grow grey hairs and one day you will look back and think why did I stress about such little things when they were young and now I have drugs, exams, girlfriends, them driving, them leaving home to go to uni to worry about.
You know I love you dearly Jill and I could flower it all up for you but you are the mum of 3 small kids - one thing is for sure though, I did almost zero housework when mine were that little and had a cleaner. Lots of love to you xx
Thanks Dusty, I had typed out a big waffly reply and deleted it as it was just a big ramble. I will try and pull myself togetherJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

two lots have been collected. Got one more lot to be collected and no-one seems to want the other items
When did you list them? Don't forget that lots of people look when they get home from work. If they don't go this week, list them again on Monday as there are a lot of people who are on holiday at the moment.
I've put a load of washing on, and the sun is thinking about coming out, so I suppose I should venture out into the garden...0 -

For my little girl, i obviously try and avoid making anything i know she doesnt like - though she does eat most things.
I dont give her too much and if she doesnt eat it, she doesnt eat it. I put it aside and if she's hungry later she gets it back!
She gets lots of praise when she is sitting nicely and eating properly, if she eats everything she gets pudding, if not then she obviously doesnt get anything else.
Would a sticker chart work for the older 2?
To be honest unless they have eaten all their dinner i wouldnt give them toast and things later.
When Emily was little she had a plate with a suction bit at the bottom to stop flinging - have you tried one of them or is it just the food she flings?
I could try a sticker chart for the older 2, they do work quite well quite a lot of the time.
Little one flings food and plates, she's not fussy! Suction ones dont stick to the highchair table any more, its been scrubbed to death over the years so a suction things doesnt stick properly. There is a sort of layer inderneath though (the top layer comes off for cleaning) so maybe I could just put the suctiony thing straight on there. Might just try that, thanks!Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

I've cut the back lawn - I only did it Saturday, it had really grown. The front is still OK, it never grows as fast. Edged it and swept up too.
One of my cats is out the front watching a pigeon. Are all pigeons stupid or just the ones round here? She's about six feet away and it doesn't appear to have noticed her even though she's mostly white. I wouldn't worry but I still remember the time she dragged a live one in under the fence.........she's a lot older now and hasn't caught anything for a long time. It's the other one that still catches things.0
