    Hi,

    In my HHC i

Cleared the top of & behind the storage shelves
    Cleaned storage shelves
Started sorting out about a million dvds & games:mad:

I've got to finish the games & Dvds then sort out his desk and another 2 shelves. Why did i think this was a good idea:confused:.

Jill i'm glad today was a good day for you. I wouldn't worry too much about the weight in the last few weeks i've lost 8lbs, put 3 on , STS lost 1, then lost 3. This week i think i've probably put most of what i've lost back on i've been such a pig:o.

rosepink if it was a little less 'eventful' it would have helped, but a holiday all the same and the boys seem to have enjoyed it :)

I need to do a lot of catch up studying (didn't fit in as much as I'd hoped) and laundry/unpacking over the next couple of days but will try to pop in when I can. Had to go straight to Metro to get DS1 some new glasses tonight too as he snapped them while we were away, have arranged to meet up with DS2s old best friend tomorrow with his Mam/brother so that wipes the afternoon out, DPs still not right on his ankle, Saturday we have the guy coming to tame the forest (conifers in the garden) so all go unfortunately :(

Oh and thanks for the ebay reminder, I have something to post which sold when I was away!
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Greenbee, could you join a library near where you work and go out there in your lunch hour?

What's a lunch hour  I eat both breakfast and lunch either in meetings, walking from one meeting to another, or if I'm really lucky, sitting at my desk catching up on emails... and I don't suppose I'm the only one here who does that

soappie - hope you can find an answer soon. Happy to help if you want someone to bounce ideas off...

hex - lots of luck & positive vibes for tomorrow

toots - we'll try to be better behaved tomorrow ;) It sounds like your painter is doing a fantastic job. None of the people I've had doing stuff for me have ever been that quick or efficient. I hope you're managing to ebay stuff quickly enough to get the cash together... at least it's given you an incentive to get on with it.

Jill - well done on your meals this evening. I'm sure if you get these sorted out it will help with the weigh loss too. And the exercise will make you feel better - it really does help lift your mood. I was feeling pretty down this afternoon, and after a walk with a friend and a chat (and then supper... her daughter cooked for us :D) I feel so much more positive. If you can do plenty of batches of stuff in the slow cooker, then you should be able to have some days where all you do is defrost add some veggies or a salad, and the whole thing will be quicker. I use vinegar for limescale, for the shower head I take it off and stick it in a jug. For the taps, I put plastic over the tissue/cloth and tie it with an elastic band, and leave it until I need to use the tap (which as I live alone, can be several days )

clarissa - mould/mildew - I use either vinegar or a paste made of borax.

froddy - well done on the decisive action on the car. soappie sets a high standard!

well done to all the ebayers!

    Hi ya everyone
Omg has just dawned on me that I haven't been doing to much :o but I have good reason, if this is an ok excuse,
my little girl has not been well for 6 days and really clingy !

That is not just an ok excuse - it is a Very Good Reason. Nothing is as important as taking care of your children's needs, and that is doubly true when they're ill.

I've gone AWOL over the easter holidays. The house can tell....
I will be joining again next week. Won't be able to do much over the weekend, as I am off to tutorials on both days in Birmingham.

Hugs to all who need/ want it.

Toots - promise I'll be back next week!

JillD - well done on your good day. The weight thing - Pah! That can be resolved later. The thing to focus on is that the kids ate dinner and you and hubs were able to eat at the same time so that was a big success. Well done you!

Frodders, SSL and Rosepink and my dear Toots and Greenbee - thank you for your vibes and thoughts. They have helped. The deflector shield is back in place and the girder is gone. I can now seperate the community/home stuff again. It's just the phone calls took me by surprise. There's me winding down with the nice prospect of tomorrow off and phone calls happen out of the blue to catch me unawares.

I have also eaten which probably helped even more :) I don't do low blood sugar very well.

I'm not sure what I can do to resolve the stuff that came out of the woodwork this evening. But I know none of it is my fault and all I can do is offer support should it be needed.

I also know I love you all so a group hug is in order :grouphug:
