does anyone know how to get rid of mold on walls ?

You can buy stuff to spray on and wipe off, but I've found that a tea-tree-oil solution works better than the stuff the shop sells, and it's cheaper, nicer-smelling, and doesn't leave bleached spots on the duvet cover when your other half lets it drip...

I cleaned up my conservatory last week and used the remains of a bottle of the B&Q brand stuff to start with, then switched to the TTO solution when I ran out, and discovered the TTO was more effective. I'd imagine it would be safer than the bought stuff on wallpaper or paintwork too.

we all get carried away when we start decluttering - but I read on the flylady site a good tip - dont pull out more than an hours worth of sorting at a time - you wont get into a muddle or get fed up.

lil_me nice to see you - hope you manage to catch up on your studying - how did you get on with the TMA's you have already submitted? sorry to be nosey!:rotfl:
Jill as the others have said - you did well tonight - just try to replacate it - more advance meals - it makes life so much easier. and foget about the weight - you will soon be back on track.
egon I will be watching for you - hope the tutorials go well and arent too boring.

Is the chalenge until tomorrow or sunday - I cant remember - I will have my ebay done I will I will I will:rotfl::rotfl::rolleyes:

must go look for my totals as I have a cardboard box and 3 pieces of junk mail to add

mozzy - hope you feel better soon.
am working on planning new teatime routine, thanks for your input and your PM
Took a look at the geocaching website, lovely to hear from an actual person who has done it!

mrsmh - woo good luck have been thinling of you today :)
piggers - zzzz well done on some sleep zzzzz
ssl - if the 6/7 PJs are still arond DD1 would love them , hers are all a bit sort of 3/4 length legs and cropped top looking LOL Have left you a msg on your fb wall too :)

valli - my DD1 changes her clothes a million times a day and the ones she takes of she puts staight in the wash basket - yes yes all very helpful etc but not when it multiplies my washing by 4!!! Tonigt she came downstairs at 6pm in a clean pinafore having just changed. Then cried cos I made her take it off and eat her tea in an apron. No way was I let her get pasta sauce down a thing she'd been wearing for 10 seconds!!!
holly - nasty one on the cut knee. I've managed to smash a lightbulb and a glass vase ths week, hoovered it up pronto in case the kids got to it first

rose - funnily enough I asked DH tonight if he could text me when he's leavign work as it would really help just to know. He doesnt see the point and was initally against it, said it would be a waste of texts, Isaid it would be under £2 a month and would really help me, so he said he would try.
Hope you are doing ok today ((hugs))

Abbie - I totally sympathise withthe morning sickness, you poor thing :(
I had it with all 3 of mine, most badly with the 3rd. This time 2 years ago I was SOOOOOOOOOO miserable with it(yes yes I know I always seem to be miserable but that was the worst ever).
Unfortunately I didnt find anything that helped except sleep. Even then I used to wake in the night to puke. But lying down helped the most. With number 3 the only thing I could keeop down was McDonalds chips !!!!!! With number 1 it was supernoodles. Do for me it was carbs that I needed. I ate a lot of Carrs water biscuits too. Hopefully it will go at te end of the first few months. It seems never ending but try to focus on each day and not stress about when it will go away, I hated being pregnant, I wanted to be all glowing and healthy and heappy looking but I hated it. I have 3 beautiful children now and although it would have been nice to really enjoy the pregnancies that wasnt how it was for me.
I hope the sickness doesnt last too long for you (((hugs)))
ETA just read you have a 5 year old, I think for me thats why it was worst 3rd time round, by then the other 2 didnt stop all day therefore neither could I so I could never rest. I am guessing your 5yo is off school for Easter so you are probably run ragged, maybe thats why its worse at the moment, Also, I went to the GP and was signed off work for 7 weeks with my morning sickness 3rd time. I figured I could either be sick and struggle on and have family life suffer, or I could stay off work, let folk at work worry about work, and I could rest up when the kids were at preschool and then have a bit more energy to cope the rest of the day.

Ladies (and gents). I need uplifting vibes please.
And I realise my community burdens are not half as bad as the personal burdens that a lot of you are going through so I hope you forgive me for venting off xx

Soappie, you help everyone with their problems, big or small, so I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we're here for you too... If you want to vent, PM me if you like - and maybe if we gang together like the french (just look what they're doing at the moment) we can achieve anything you know! ;) not sure what I personally can do to help, but will give it a go if I can... ;) Uplifting vibes on their way hun x :A

You download it from ebay ( i googled ebay turbo lister and it took me to it). It's supposed to be quicker and easier and you don't have to list things as you finish them IYSWIM, you can wait until you're ready. However, i have just spent the last 45 mins downloading it and trying to sign into ebay as i haven't used it since my pc was wiped. When it's up and running it does make things easier.
Thanks Holly, it's just finished for me - very quick (don't like to rub it in...)
Toots, thanks to you too honey, just seen your post...

:T:T:T:T:T:TWell done, I haven't today but you never know tomorrow ;)

Thanks, it's taken me months to do it though - I thought stacking it on the landing would help, but the rest is still sitting there...;) But once I started I just wanted to get it on - it's starting anything with me, once I do I'm away - why is that?
You will too once you decide to do it (you're so much more decisive than I am, I can't even decide what I want to write here :rotfl:).

Jill, you've done great today, well done, it makes such a difference when you have a good day doesn't it - long may they continue...
If DH doesn't like wasting money on texts, what about a drop call? If he rings once then hangs up, you know he's on his way and it hasn't cost a penny!... (My DD used to drop call me all the time when she wanted me to call her back - she knows how to save a penny - spend mine! :rotfl:)

Well, not done too much more, but am just going to start on accounts, as I'm wide awake and that should send me straight off... ;):D

See you all tomorrow, hopefully for some cleaning this time...

Sunnygirl with the flower - yes I always feel terrible if they go to bed with no food in their tummies but hey they have to know who's boss (I *think* its me .......)

    Pollybear
    - my grass needs cutting again too, all this pesky sunshine and rain!!!
Thinking it will have to wait til at leasr DS back at school, grren bags go out next Thurs so as long as its done by then .....

gratefulforhelp - thankyou for saying I am doing a fab job :) That means loads :) Hubby works very hard, I am very proud of him. He and two other guys he (we) worked with started a business 4 years ago and its doing so well. They worked on their stuff in their spare time the year before they left work during which time I was pregnant and had a 12 monthish old baby to look after. We get no family help at all and cant afford a cleaner or anything. My MIL lives locally but wont help . I once asked her to mind DS (then 1) when I had terrible morning sickness with number 2, she said no she wouldnt come over. If my Mum comes to stay she wont look after them or babysit of an evening, If we go to stay with her its the same. She wont even mind them while I have a shower.
Hubs left work when DD1 was 4 weeks old. They had months without salary when I was on materity leave so we had 2 babies and no money coming in but not entitled to any benefits at the time. They have developed a software product from scratch and gone out and sold it, they have over 100 licenses sold (it sells for £10k, its a massive product with a lot of engineering in it), and have sold loads of consulting hours too. They have done Trade Shows where they they have stood and done the hard sell all day then taken prospective customers out, then gone back to their (cheap) hotel rooms and burned demo CDs all through the night. He works loads from home in the evening and weekends. I was married before and started off my life with DH going thorugh an unpleasant divorce. I lost my job around the same time, and walked away fom the previous marriage with some furniture but nothing of the equity in the house we owned and I had to start again, with not a penny to my name.

I (for once) am not looking for sympathy but just want to say I am so proud of him, and of us for getting through the other divorce, the job changes, the new business and the littlies, and all on our own :o:o:o:o:o:o:o
I should also say that although we get no family help I have lots of lovely friends who are my support network :)

ooh look a positive waffly post!

Thats lovely Jill, you should be proud. That was a big gamble he took and he's obviously worked hard to make it successful - i'm sure he couldn't have done it without you though.
