another vote for microfibre cloths I use them everywhere, get mine from woolworths and costco,
for glass I have one damp and one dry, no cleaner, wipe with wet one then dry off,
but NEVER put them in the tumble dryer it ruins themI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. I find it doesn't really matter what you wash the window with (I tend to use water with washing-up liquid and any old bits of fabric), as long as you dry/polish it with scrunched-up newspaper.0

Try microfibre cloths, they are great for cleaning glass. I got some in tesco (3 for 99p I think). I use a damp one first and then buff them up with a dry one.
Theres a recent thread on microfibre cloths here

can recommend this it really works. Got empty squirty bottle from a friend filled it with tap water, squirted at window & buffed off with scrunched up old newspaper. No streaks no elbow grease, truly amazing. hazell0

I use my microfibre cloths; one soaked in very hot water and wrung out, then buff with a dry one. No smears and no elbow grease (as I've just finished recommending to aliosojo on the stardrops thread for her mirrors).some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0
