Have to say microfibre as well. As Dogrose says, best used when straight out of the washing machine. If not use a spray bottle of water to barely dampen.
I have microfibre cloths in the kitchen, bathroom and car, use them dry for dusting, damp for cleaning. I do my laminate floors with a microfibre mop and a light misting of water - no smearsBest of they just go in the machine when dirty and last for ages.(dont use fabric conditioner in the wash)

Microfibre addict here too - but I have cheap ones and more expensive ones from Lakeland, and I find the Lakeland ones better. They're fab on stainless steel too.The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0

You can get microfibre cloths in poundland. I use a flanmnel for cleaning the bathrooms, and get a really good shine with them.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I read 'em online....have been known to *ahem*...'liberate' one that's been left behind on a bus....
I have tried the newspaper thing but I just can't get the hang of it! Do you wet it first? Can never get into the corners properly!
I use the free papers that come through the door for this. I do though sometimes buy the local papers to enter competions as there is a higher chance of winning local competitions.0 -
Hi!
My favourite, and cheapest, cloths are old cotton boxer shorts(knitted cotton, not woven) and my big- pants- Sloggis. Virtually free...and lint-free after repeated washing.Mortgage Free in Three cheerleader0 -

Microcloths for me too. Especially the E Cloth - you only need this & water!

I agree, E Cloths are amazing, I have the cheaper ones as well but they are not as good. I also have a duster which I bought in M&S about 8years ago, its made of microfibre but is like suede and is brilliant for dry dusting especially ornaments.0

I have to agree with Traf - nothing works as well as scrunched up newspaper and water/vinegar in a spray bottle (I actually use the old Windolene spray bottle). It is so easy, and you don't need much elbow grease as the vinegar kind of evaporates.
