re cotton buds - MIL has some with a tiny bud that can't get stuck anywhere cos then they get really fat! I think they are from Boots and are called Safety Buds

    Typical - no picture!

definitely! we've only needed to use it once but it was amazing when we did!

Is there an alternative to gripe water that can be bought off the shelf? DH is allergic to fennel and from googling "gripe water", it seems that fennel is one of the ingredients
  • I've been keeping up, but not posting much! Hiya to all the newbies :hello:

Spent yesterday blitzing the house - not quite sure where all the carp came from :o Hubby insisted on doing all the hoovering and anything he deemed to be too much

    Hi NMS

I am a Vicki but not a Victoria, my stepmum used to call me Tori or Tors to wind me up.

I wouldn't mind if it was Victoria and it was shortened but I wouldn't name a child after myself and OH just wants Tori on it's own.
That awful Tori spelling was on an advert the other day and it just wound me up! He like it cos there'a female wrestler called Tori!

OK, so I like Zac because I like Zac Efron and HSM are my fave films but that's different! ;)

There is something grossly addictive about using cotton buds to chase boogers, it's like a game! Or is it just me? :rotfl:

    I like Claina too!

Right, I really am going to get a move on now.. need to be up to my eyeballs in paperwork when OH gets home - in half an hour!

My dad's coming round at 2pm too to discuss what can be ripped out of our garden - he's off work next week and needs something to take his work stress out on.. very conveniently for us! ;)

Have fun at Asda, Glam! I need to get some groceries later but am going at 9pm after work so at least it will be quiet!

I am so wiped out today- don't know what it wrong with me (apart from the obvious, LOL). Could it be that bubs is having a growth spurt? I'm 10+3. I so do not want to go to work and be on my feet for 8 hours- aargh!

Hope everyone who has Easter weekend off is enjoying it- weather is carp here but I'm hopeful for a bit of sunshine tomorrow. If so will get the parasol out and lounge about in the garden all day! x x

I felt awful around the 10 week mark. I think it went on for 2 or 3 weeks where I just couldn't be bothered to do anything. If DH hadn't cooked a meal each night, I wouldn't have eaten. At that point, work didn't know so it was hard work keeping up the pretence every day when I felt so tired so when I came home from work, all I wanted to do was lie on the sofa.

Mine did pass though, so hopefully yours will do. Take it easy and don't do too much. In fact, don't do anything you don't need to!
