    We were talking ages ago about if you have more/less/faster/slower hair growing it's an indication of having a boy/girl.... Which way round was it??

    Just realised it feels like forever ago that I shaved my legs and they're still quite smooth! :confused: I was dreading summer with a bump and not being able to reach my legs but if this keeps up it might not be so bad! :D

    Morning everyone

    labour vibes to all that need them and welcome all newbies :j:j

    Well its not all bad in hospital its nice to have your breakfast handed to you every morning, just before the jabs and poking and prodding.

    I have just finished ordering the groceries from tesco online for DH, its so frustrating that my internet connetion goes off like every 5 minutes and can take ages to reconnect, bt have finally got there!!

    Money Maker im in the ante natal ward in the Royal, im not sure if the city has a maternity as i've thankfully never had need to be in the city.

    Can someone also put a little PINK icon beside my name lol. My due date is also 28th July think it was a mistake at the beginning. Thanks

    I was so convinced this was a boy im still trying to get my head round it. So far 2 dotors have commented on "her strong heartbeat" and have said "she is very active"

    morning!! :hello:

    hope everyone is well.
    labour vibes to everyone who needs them...
    welcome to another '22 September Club Member'

    have managed to sort out most of the clothes i need over the next few months. with mum's help have bought a few essential/main things and then others if i need can buy along the way. luckily this summer there is lots of stretchy leggings,floaty tops and smock style dresses etc so without spending a small fortune have got hopefully enough.
    * got 3 pairs of leggings (may get 1 or2 more but only £5 so stillcheap) 1 long, 2 mid calf (i'm 5' 2'' so prob just over the knee on others)
    * 2 pairs maternity jeans
    * 3 gorgeous tops from primark very floaty and ideal for pregnant me (actually in their swim/sun section) nice and colourful and go very well with white leggings
    * sundress
    * have gots lots of stretchy tops already. i like theones that actually cover your belly so should be ok.

    as others have said there is really not a lot of nice, but inexpensive maternity clothes. so i have gone for my normal size but all the ones that are very loose fitting style. i have plenty of room to grow into them all.

    could have prob bought more but my sensible mum said to hang fire as i may find wht i have bought is sooo comfy i wont want to wear anything else.

    its alovely and sunny here so i;m gonna go in a bit and relax in the garden

    Morning

    Elle - I think the saying goes if you have rapid hair growth it's a boy due to the extra testerone in the body. Opposite for you then!

    Mat clothes - not buying anymore til it gets really hot and then will just be long vests from H&M.
    2 x work mat trousers, 1 x work mat skirt, 2 mat jeans, 1 x mat combats.
    1 x mat thin jumper, 6 x floaty/stretchy style tops for work and going out.

    Things I need to do today

    Go to ASDA :eek:
    Change bedsheets
    Unload dishwasher
    Clean Bathroom
    Sort out my eBay listing which are finishing after lunch.
    Pack those that sell and relist those that don't.

    Can't believe there are now 5 of us on 22nd September!

    Mrs Moc - soz to hear your going to be in hospital for so long. Make sure OH brings you lots of things to keep you sane!

    Labour vibes to all those that need them

    Congrats to Newbies
