Hmm.. see what's what I was thinking too! Good job we have the other scan next weekend just to be sure!
OH said asked me last night if we should find out sex or not?! He has been banging on about having a boy that I thought he wanted to know.
I told him that knowing our luck bubba would have legs firmly crossed anyway! He seems to be coming around to the idea of a girl though just in case - and has thought of more girls names than boys!
Whoever was thinking of Issac, I like that name too but OH and I decided we liked Zac or Jake instead.
I like Abigail for a girl - thats from watching Eastenders

Glam, we were always decided to find out the sex.. no question about it - don't know why tho! The NHS 20wk sonographer was "95% sure it's a boy" but OH just wants to double check. He was adamant it would be a girl so it took a few weeks for him to get his head around having a boy but now I think he's just about there

Right, have bored myself silly comparing the prices of metal sheds :wall: this morning.. Now time to start on the paperwork - what joy!
Bob has been jumping about all morning and I've twigged that I'm sat here with my legs out in front of me (on a faux leather cube thingy) like I usually do whereas last night I had my feet on the floor, which might explain why my sister didn't see a lot! Best try that next time I see her!0 -
Right - going to check my hair out, get ready and nip to ASDA. It will be heaving and I will regret it but we have nothing in and I couldn't be bothered yesterday!
Will pop back later and see if we have any more activity on here!
ETA - Sorry Elee - you posted as I was writing!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Came home with a crib, moses basket and stand and a vibrating bouncy chair
DH will kill me.
Just thinking of that Chinese gender prediction.... that's it scored a hat trick for me
Predicted the two boys correctly and now my girl.
We are still stuck on Aisha for a girl (spoken Aye-sha), but then both the boys were a different name till a few weeks before the birth.0 -

Well, I thought we were def going to find out til last night!

See I post to say that I'm going as I finally get the motivation to move and then you both post!! Aisha is nice, I liked Alisha but got shot down as usual.
Oh and worse still, MIL and FIL actually LIKED Tori!! I wasn't impressed and have still put my foot down!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Have fun at Asda, Glam! I need to get some groceries later but am going at 9pm after work so at least it will be quiet!
I am so wiped out today- don't know what it wrong with me (apart from the obvious, LOL). Could it be that bubs is having a growth spurt? I'm 10+3. I so do not want to go to work and be on my feet for 8 hours- aargh!
Hope everyone who has Easter weekend off is enjoying it- weather is carp here but I'm hopeful for a bit of sunshine tomorrow. If so will get the parasol out and lounge about in the garden all day! x x:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

chopsticks, theres nothing in your list i've not used so i dont think you've gone overboard!
this may sound like a ridiculous question, but what are you using cotton buds for? is it for boogers?
Thank you - that is reassuring. The only thing I've got that I haven't put on there is a top and tail bowl. Somebody has given us one but if they hadn't, I wouldn't have bought one as I don't think it'll get used very much
.
The other thing that isn't on my list is a bottle warmer. I just thought a jug of warm water would do but then somebody said to me that if you get a cooler/warmer type one, you can take it upstairs and night and it will keep the milk cool until you tell it to warm it up. That way you don't have to traipse up and down the stairs in the night. What do others think? I'm planning to BF so haven't put it on my list as even if/when we do move to bottles, there will be plenty of time to get one after bubba is born.
Re. the cotton buds, yep for boogers
. Obviously, I won't stick them up bubba's nose but was going to use them to clean round the edges.
One of the books I've been reading mentions that when you leave the hospital they give you an aspirator and the author said it was one of the best things she bought. The book is US-based so I know I won't be given one, but was wondering about getting one or not. There is one here at BabiesRUs. Not sure whether it's worth it though. Has anyone else used one? It looks a bit scary to put up bubba's nose

The hospital food is actually quite yummy and a good menu to choose from.
Im starting to settle better now, DH is visiting twice a day once without the kids and then back down later with them. Now that I have my lappy some dvd's and my books I feel alright.
Im trying not to worry about bleeding and what might happen and just take it each day as it comes. Though I know it will be a CS premmie.
I didnt want to know the sex but 2 docors have let it slip its a girl, I think DH was a little dissapointed as he was hoping to even up the score we have 2 girls already and a little boy at 16M.
I dont care in the slightest I love pink frilly dresses and all the girly stuff. I like Cliana for a girl (prounounced clane -a) but DH has said no way
Having spent 2 hours on tesco website ordering groceries for the house, DH will be learning how to go to a supermarket next week lol.
Good news today from the Doc, Im being allowed home tomorrow afternoon for a few hours for my Easter dinner. I only live 10 mins up the road and DH has promised a slap up meal with dessert hmm.
It will also give me a chance to make sure the house isnt being trashed and the washing is getting done lol.0
