DS1 was 7 days late but I wasnt anywhere as uncomfortable as I am this time around. (or maybe it was just it was so long ago I dont rememeber it being!!)

I had DS2 3 days early and was so sure it would happen like that again.

sls i remember that feeling too well, at least the end is in sight for you and you know when you will be getting induced, just sucks on a bank holiday!

i've just dressed seth and seen a big patch of red raw skin in his armpit, the poor little man! it had little bits of soft scabs in the creases too, i got really upset for a minute its funny how being a mum makes you feel. i think it looks a bit like a fungal infection and it smells a bit nasty, god knows where he could have picked it up from though. i've cleaned it with water and cotton wool.

now i'm obviously not asking for medical advice but what do i do about getting it looked at? he isnt registered with a doctor yet, do i make an appointment for me and get him looked at instead? or do i need to register him first? or can i take him to see the midwives at the hospital he was born at still? he's 4 weeks old on sunday.

why do these things always happen on bank hoilidays when everything is closed? :rolleyes:

definitely! we've only needed to use it once but it was amazing when we did!

Welcome and congrats to Katster!
SLS - sending labour vibes to you. And try no to stress yourself about your mum.

My brother phoned me last night to say that his girlfriend is pregnant with their first! I am delighted for them, but she has been getting bad pains in her stomach and is going for an early scan on Friday. Just hope everything is ok. I would feel terrible if she lost it and we went on to have our baby. She is about 10 weeks behind me, so it will be nice that they will be around the same age. Might even solve our childcare issues when I return to work!!! ha ha.

I took my dressing gown to mum's yesterday to be washed and tumble dried and forgot to bring it back home again, so no slobbing on the sofa for me all morning Gonna get dressed and get on with stuff again soon..

Going to see Jimmy Carr tonight. Might nip out to Tesco later for something nice and quick for tea - and more Easter eggs!
