I'm using the cocoa butter tub, it smells dleish. I'll get more stretch marks but it stops the itching (which has started now in places I have no stretch marks!). And my sacntuary moisture spray oil... mmmm love that stuff!

Got bio oil allready that I bought for a scar. It didn't do anything at the time, but the scar is now just a few shades lighter than the rest of my arm instead of that purple tone (ripped the inside of my forearm open when moving an old storage heater, ripped right through the skin layer to the fatty tissue, was very lucky it went no deeper as it was right over the main artery) it looks like a very pale burn. Bio oil is also great for a facial, but only use a few drops. Next morning you will look a few years younger, plumps the skin out.

    21 weeks today! :j

The whole BMI thing - I remembered I saw this the other day and I quite liked the tone of it - non-judgemental but explaining why women with a higher BMI ought to see an aneastatist before going in even if not planning on a C-sec etc... Might be helpful to those out there that have a higher BMI?

My hubby too... I had one the other night and said, ooh, I'm having a contraction... Never seen him shoot off the sofa so quick!

I also had a nuchal scan on Tues (all is fine and low risk-the tiddler was ferreting about and not behaving for the person scanning!), this was 5 days after the NHS dating scan, I didn't tell the NHS we were getting the private one, didn't think I had to as it was after and I was paying! I also had 3 early scans prior to the one at nearly 12 weeks and there was no problem getting it. He was just mean.

Wow - I too had my NT scan 5 days after my 12 week scan and bubs wouldn't play ball. Got scanned for 30mins was amazing - and that is how I am sure there is no way they could have missed a twin! I look MASSIVE for 17 weeks - someone even asked when I was due which I thought might have been cheeky as he didn't know I was pregnant! I could hav just been a bit podge - but no, apparently I look very pregnant!

GISI - So glad scan went well. I too have that carseat and base - I also have the Aria pushchair which it clips into. The colours are similar to the Boots Changing Bag.

I have used all my Bio-Oil, have a small sample of Palmers Cocoa Butter from Emmas Diary bag from Lloyds Pharmacy and got some Rescue Oil off eBay but Sami said it doesn't contain same ingredients as Bio-Oil so I'll slop it on now and then fork out for some Bio-Oil.
If MrsT is right though I'm doomed anyway - I have stretchmarks all over the tops of my boobs from when I was a 34H.

Searching - you like Bodycare don't ya? :p

Well I'm broken... Went to meet my Nan in town today, had lunch, walked round M&S... Nearly passed out while she looked at jackets... (She just bought one from a charity shop and wanted to see if they still sold them) Hobbled as far as BHS with her... Then left her and took Aimee to the art gallery so I could sit down for half an hour while she played!

My back is killing me, my hips are killing me, I'm afraid to get off the sofa because I know I'm going to be hobbling like a 90yr old... I have decided that apart from school runs, midwives and swimming lessons, I will not leave the house again for the forseeable future... It's just not worth the aches...

On the plus side, my tutor is coming round in a bit so I can have a rant at her about my midwives and their need to measure my baby... She is completely on mywave length about the whole thing so I'm hoping she'll give me a bit of ammo to come back at the midwife on Monday and Tuesday when I see them... Incidentally... If the midwife is coming for my home visit on Monday to discuss my birth plan, why can't she test my sample and do my blood pressure while she's here instead of making me walk down that big hill and back up again on Tuesday?!

I don't know if there's one near me but there is one in next town over for definite!

Meant to say, not sure if I had a BH last night - don't know if its too early.
Was in kitchen and all of a sudden bump went all tight and really hurt - knocked me for six but was OK about 30 seconds later.
was it a BH do we think? Or maybe my overactive imagination?

Krystal - is the MW coming to you because you're having a HB? Sorry can't remember. Just that no-one has made any arrangements to come and see me at home at all... are they supposed to? Only asking you as we're nearly due date buddies and kinda figure generally we should be on the same time line :)
