Howdy DFBs! Hope your debt free journeys are going well!

Not a great debtbusting month of September but still managed a daily PAD - somtimes as low as 10p! And I had a fantastic two weeks away in Turkey and all refreshed so not feeling too guilty. DFD remains the same though! I am now installed in my new job so excited about using my extra cash to attack the debt pile!

    Debt now : £19,553

    Achieved since LBM £28,605 1/1/9 - 31.7% paid off :j
    Achieved since DFB sign-up £23,650 1/5/9 - 17.4% paid off

Keep up the good work folks! Going for over 1/3 gone since LBM as my next target.
Debt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!
    TARGETS : :D:D
    Save 12k in 2013: #068 : £7,305/£12,000
  • Ermmm. I was wondering since I am never going to be debt free by March 2010 could I aim to have 7,000 left to pay off instead?

I know I don't post much but I do read and I just thought I'd ask

    xx

Well I have just checked my snowball and if I pay off £250 a month....I will be debt free by Dec 2010, 6 months after my birthday! RUBBISH....I am DETERMINED to get that down as much as possible, starting with ebay this eve. Unfortunately my plan for spending extra earnings on debt failed because I have a bill for my car to pay £284, not happy!
    Debt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)

Of course! Just let me know what amount this means you're aiming to clear and I'll amend the post.

You don't have to ask, just let us know that times have changed. I haven't a hope in hell of being debt-free by 30 at the rate I'm going...:o

    Hey all.
Everyone's doing a really good job!

I've managed to do a balance transfer to bank account where interest rate is lower than my loan interest. When it comes through and I pay off the amount from my loan, I will update sig. I think I need to amend my DFD but will let you know when I've worked out when it's likely to be.
    DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!
Proud to have dealt with my debts!

My DFD is apparently 8 months after my 30th bday :( booo. Hopefully by swapping my HSBC card to a 0% asap it will bring that date down a bit.:o

My DFD is about 5 months later than I need it to be at the moment too but I'm still aiming for my birthday!
