Is that to do with a student loan or have I got you mixed up with someone else? :o
I agree, it is only my CC that really stings me with a stupid interest rate, which is why it is coming down so slowly compared with everything else even though it is the one debt I am really really focusing on. It WILL be gone by Valentines Day (new personal mini-challenge alert!)

Yes, it's me with the student loan. But the interest that had gathered due to non payment has now finally been sorted, as I did a balance transfer and paid quite a bit of s.loan. Obviously I still have the debt on CC now, but with a lower interest rate. And now that I actually start paying of the capital, things will soon look much better. I only pay it every 4months cos I have to transfer money overseas and that costs. So next update will be end of December and that should look much better. Should be under 10k then.

The annoying thing is, I've paid about 5k off debts, but it doesn't look like it as a lot of it has just been swallowed paying interest. :(

Hmmm, not 100% worked this out yet, but if I balance transfer up to my limit on CC and pay that off my s.loan, I should be able to pay s.loan off in a year'ish and then the credit card in another year'ish, making it almost possible still to try to get DF before my 33rd birthday.

Ok, it is in the bank now so I can shout it from the rooftops, my PPI reclaim has been refunded £1334.60!:j:j:j

Which I have paid straight off the CC.Also my loan repaymnets have been dropped by about £35 per month and due to the restructure I am missing next months payment, which will also go off CC. Was hoping to get the card gone by Christmas but have 2 birthdays (one being mine) and a wedding next month so am pledging to clear it by Valentine's Day 2010, and if I manage it earlier it will be a bonus.

Thank you!! I have just read back properly and seen your ebay challenge, completely missed it before, sorry for being so ignorant! Am hoping to get some done today as I have the day off, but I plan that every Thursday and it never really pans out! Think I should be shamed into doing some by the fact that I accidentally ignored you :o

    How did your listing go?

Hi no worries! As they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions - in my case I only managed to list 3 things on Sunday (hangs head in shame) I also planned to list on Tuesday to finish Sunday next (didn't happen) & now I know that I need to list today so I get a 10day auction to finish a week on Sunday (can you tell I like auctions finishing then?).

Anyhow - DH is out tonight - he's on the radio  - so theoretically I can list some stuff. Have to list some gig tickets for daughter as she has now decided shes not going after all! and the gig is next Thursday:eek:

But, i am out this afternoon & anyway it's very dull for taking pics. However, how about a realistic go at it?? In my case I will trawl through pics already taken & not listed, & use those. I plan to do 5, anything else will be a bonus:T Let's encourage each other :rotfl:

This is exactly why I have Thursdays off! That and the fact it is market day so I can go and have a potter. My OH plays pool on a Thurs so its a peaceful ebay evening for me hopefully! Not sure what I have left to list actually but 5 items definitely seems manageable - count me in!

    Good luck!

ps What is your DH on the radio for?
