Very true! I'm only really likely to make it if my house sells but even without that I can hopefully clear it by next Summer

    Hi all!

I got paid yesterday and should have updated then, but was Christmas shopping :o

    Starting debt = £6,993.88
Current loan balance = £5,997.91 Gone up from last month due to interest (Grr) and not having made the monthly payment yet...
Amount in Instant Access savings = £20.01 :oRaided due to skintness
Amount in No Access savings = £1050

So, I now owe £4,927.90!!!! This is higher than last month, urgh.

To be fair, lodger has moved out leaving us £355 short per month so I haven't been debt-busting as I should and all my PAD money has gone to my small overdraft this month. I'm content with how things stand all in all though. I've sold some stuff on Ebay and signed up to BB for bingo so all is well.

    How's everyone else doing?

I'm hoping come pay day on Monday that I should be able to pay off a decent chunk... Want to see money in the bank tho before committing!

Mine won't show any improvement until mid December/early next year when I pay my student loan installment. Did another balance transfer to lower interest rate so that should help. If everything goes to plan,s.loan should be gone end of next year, and then another year to pay off CC. Fingers crossed I still make my birthday challenge.

I won't do quite so well over the next couple of months due to being back at work, Christmas and car tax being due. Then again as long as I'm paying some of my debt off I'll be doing better than in previous years when I'd run out of money in January and have to resort to using the CC for living stuff!

Not going too badly now after a bit of a stall a few weeks ago. Have decided that I'm going to try and get all my spends money from the £10 a day challenge, so that all my salary after rent/bills/food can go on debt. Depending how it goes I may increase my target but at this moment this is just a pipe dream!

    Enough of this crazy talk!

Payday Friday... think that might be a good reason to go and play with my new oh-so-pretty spreadsheet *scuttles off*

Not done so well this month but still made progress!

Have just realised I need to clear over £1000 a month to meet my target which is unrealistic!! I might clear the CC but won't manage the overdraft too. Will sit down at the end of the year and revise my target date I think!
