Congratulations Laura- look forward to hearing all about your plans

    Happy New Year everyone!
    Thanks Jellie :D

My first major money saving plan is: make my own invites. I have made birthday cards/thank you cards for years but just need to get an idea together for simple, cheap yet chic invites and associated stationary :)

Pleased that its over 50% as that was my aim but was boosted hugely by my PPI refund so will be harder to maintain this year - but I am going to do it!

    Well done Shrimpy!

Laura- will be good to see your design. I assume you'll be heading over to the wedding and crafts sections for inspiration!

    Happy New Year everyone!

Just checking in to say I'm still plugging away at the debts. They're all dropping each month, and I'm on target to start ploughing through the smaller debts in time for July, when I'm going to snowball my way through the big nasty one.

My main aim is still to be debt free by February 2012, but for now I'm going to focus on clearing as much as I can by Christmas.

Good luck everyone, and thanks for the continued support, smiles and encouragement!

Hate having a day off and no extra money for payments! 9 days til payday... perhaps a tinker with the budget sheet might satisfy my need to debt bust!
Keep going everyone, this is the sticky time of year as we all know so a little slow down is inevitable but we will all get there x

Am looking forward to my end of month update. It won't be as good as I hoped but I'm proud of how well I've done considering!!
