Well done for reaching your target, it's very inspiring for those of us who still have some way to go :T
*edit* I've crossed you off the list now so people can see who has achieved their goal. Well done again!!0 -
Congratulations and happy birthday Roxiepie! You still need to pop in and see us every so often though
And thankyou Hopeful - had a confirmation letter from the Ombudsman saying it may take HSBC "several weeks" but they are working to refund me as quick as possible. I can imagine that I am top of their priority list  Not complaining though, chuffed to bits!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -

Morning all!
It's payday tomorrowso it's time for another update from me....
Starting debt = £6,993.88
Current loan balance = £6,187.12
Amount in Instant Access savings = £61.10
Amount in No Access savings = £1000
So, I now owe £5,126.02
I'm pleased that I've paid over 25% off. It's not moved as much as I would have liked, but this month I have also bought a laptop (£400) and only have £75 left to pay on that. I have also started working on my overdraft which for various reasons wasn't included in this challenge. I have brought that down from £400 to £185ish.
Lots of good work being done, just none for the challenge :rotfl:
How is everyone else doing?

Just gto paid from the evening job so another £148.70 off my RBS cc - once that card is gone I can start chucking money in a savings account to get some lump sums together! hoping to ditch the RBS cc by the end of November...VIRGIN CC [STRIKE] £648.87[/STRIKE]PAID OFF 08-09-09 :j

Due to several issues I am really having trouble calculating our total debt - cc is being used but then paid off again and waiting for OH student loan to come in as they haven't dealt with in time even though we applied in May
Anyway - will not be able to pay off all of our debts by my original DFB of Nov 2010 anyway so I will change my pledge to pay off our loans by then, total as of today £11,590. Have already some money I will use to make an overpayment but not taking that off yet until I have paid it. Just seen my monthly repayment of £250 went out a few days ago and the total loan amount has gone down by just over £100  the rest went on interest :mad::mad: Shame I took it out (consolidation) just before my LBM:rolleyes:
This is probably not the best way to do things as per snowball but for us at the moment is the only way to actually seeing debts go down...:rolleyes:LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422
Chrimbo crackers: £207.17/£5100
