    Some things are essential expenses.

    You can't debt-bust if you're blind :D

Just doing an update since I re-did my snowball calculator: debt is down from Feb09 by £22582.39 :jOnly problem is that DFD is 26 months off - & DH's birthday is just over a year away!! Ah well we'll have to see just how near we can get, at least we should be a whole lot nearer than we were. Progress is being made but I still have the self-employed tax problem situation which is holding me back & depressing me as v we could pay off more....I want it gone

Sorry don't want to end on an angry face - PMA everyone!!:T

I think a few of us (Myself included) will struggle with our original debt-free dates. I could just about do it if I didn't leave the house or have any fun but I want to have a life!

My month isn't going to be too hot I don't think as I have bought a new laptop :o and seem to be paying out money hand over fist for my friend's wedding on Friday.

All part of the DFBC fun :D

Hello DFB folks! Hope your debt free journeys are going well!

Well, I have managed to get myself below the £20k barrier (by £1!) which is a HUGE milestone for me, and means that the MSE website has helped me clear £8k in 9 months! Where was it all going before?

    Debt now : £19,999

    Achieved since LBM £28,605 1/1/9 - 31.1% paid off :j
    Achieved since DFB sign-up £23,650 1/5/9 - 15.5% paid off

September and October are tough months as I am between jobs....so will be E-baying everything not nailed down!

Keep up the good work folks!

Evening everyone, just redone my clicker but it hasn't budged due to interest :( However will be making egg payments next week and worked out that if I can find another £100 to throw at CC I will pass the 20% mark, so that is definitely my goal for the month, feeling very optimistic about it too as should be more than achievable. Need to pay off 6% every month now to hit DFB date - don't know if that calls for a :D or a !
